Heart To Heart Korean Drama Review March 10, 2015

I really wanted to do a review on the Korean drama Heart to Heart that just ended. I realized that there has been a lot of psychological melodramas this season but I really thought this one stood out but may have not gotten as much recognition as the other ones.

The plot is that Cha Hong-Do suffers from a social phobia and struggle with severe blushing. When her grandmother dies she has to work so she disguises herself as her grandmother and works in houses cleaning. Through some incidences she meets a psychiatrist Ko Yi-Seok who she is going to get help from to overcome her phobia.

I think this drama has done a very good of developing the characters. I felt a lot for these characters and found that I was never bored while watching this drama. There was not a lot of flashbacks that I tend to skip. It has a very indie feel to it especially because the music seemed quirky and indie.

I found the relationships to be touching and seeing wounded people trying to overcome their trauma and keep living to be encouraging.  This drama also has a lot of humor and even quirky humor I was so taken in by this drama. I don’t want to give any spoilers but I really hope that people go and watch this drama. 

I found it was so amusing and intriguing I even preferred it to kill me, heal me which is another one that I am watching and enjoying. My only complaint is that it was too short ! I wanted more and more!! I really hope that if anyone is unsure about this drama that they should for sure go and watch it!!

High School Love On Episode 3 Recap/Review August 3, 2014

The third episode starts with Woo-Hyun drowning and Seul-Bi jumps in and tries to save him, Sung-Yeol also comes along and jumps in and yells for him to stand up because the water is only waist deep.

The next morning Woo-Hyun realizes that his necklace is gone and he doesn’t know it is in the pool. He fights with his grandma and she tells Seul-Bi that the necklace was given to him by his mom and is very important to him. His grandma needs medicine and then asks Seul-Bi if she wants to go to school and she says yes. She goes to do her paperwork and a man stops her and switches with her paperwork. She meets her Sunbae and he questions whether she wants to stay as a human. The bully bothers Woo-Hyun at school again and the teacher walks in with Seul-Bi and she goes over and bites the bully. She is introduced as a new student and she tells him that she lives with Woo-Hyun. She gets to sit next to him and some girls become jealous and scheme to bully her.

The group of girls bully her in gym class and start throwing the ball at her and give her a nosebleed. Woo-Hyun stops a ball and drags her outside and scolds her for not realizing that she was being bullied. He gives her tissues for the blood and the teacher catches them thinking they were being romantic and makes them clean the library.

Woo-Hyun talks about not caring about the necklace and Seul-Bi can hear the change in his voice and realizes he is lying. After school Seul-Bi goes to the pool to try to find his necklace and Sung-Yeol helps her get the key to get in. Seul-Bi tries looking but can’t find it and she goes to work. Woo-Hyun goes into the pool to find the necklace and finds it thinking that is Seul-Bi’s necklace. The two bully girls from school call Woo-Hyun’s grandmother’s place for food and Woo-Hyun and his friend walk into the cafe and the girls hide from them.

The girls leave when Seul-Bi goes to the cafe and at the cafe the worker is being harassed by a man. Woo-Hyun tries to stop the man but gets pushed down. Sung-Yeol father the policeman is walking by and hear the cries and come in. They grab the guy and he says he her father and she says he isn’t and then tells them that as a father he takes her money and gambles it away not taking care of her and the cops take him away.

Seul-Bi tries to reassure the girl but she tells her to leave and is angry. As they are leaving Woo-Hyun gets a call from Sung-Yeol for Seul-Bi and she runs off to meet him. Sung-Yeol has the necklace at home and his stepmom comes in and sees it and recognizes and asks which friends it is but he doesn’t tell her. Seul-Bi and Sung-Yeol meet and gives her the necklace and tells her that she owes him tea but she hears the word car instead and they go to an arcade and play a racing game. She then buys a miniature car for him from a machine and they go home.

Woo-Hyun goes shopping for his grandmother and meets the guidance counsellor/stepmom and she asks what his name is again and follows him to his restaurant and hides when his grandmother looks her away. Some teachers come to the restaurant to eat and the music teacher likes the nurse and the nurse likes the foreigner teacher. Woo-Hyun goes to find Seul-Bi and as she is going home she drops the necklace when she is almost hit by a bike and lands in the sewer grates. As she picks it up someone throws water at her and she drops it in. She tries to use her powers to lift it up and her Sunbae watches her from a distance. Woo-Hyun then sees her walking and she seems weak and he runs to her and she shows him the necklace and puts it on him. He says thanks and pats her head and then notices that she smells.

She then sees her Sunbae and starts running to him and Woo-Hyun turns around and seems to see something and this ends episode 3.

The third episode was only aired this week because it wasn’t aired last week. So it seems like Seul-Bi’s Sunbae seems to have a crush on her because of the way he is always looking out for her. He almost seems to be annoyed that she seems to be fitting in as a human and maybe is jealous of Woo-Hyun. This school plot with the girls bullying another girl for being close to the popular boys seems like a cliche plot line. I wish the used the angel angle more I mean not having powers seems like they are taking away the most potential interesting part of the plot. I mean I would enjoy more background information on the angels and her Sunbae and wish they would play up that part more. So Woo-Hyun’s mom must be the Sung-Yeol’s stepmom. I wonder why she wouldn’t have recognized her own son and why are they estranged? Seems like there is an interesting story behind that. It sure made me nervous when she carrying around his necklace so carelessly and of course then she drops it! It is not a good sign that Woo-Hyun’s grandmother is sick and they keep showing that and I wonder if that means Woo-Hyun’s mom is going to have to help him if she get really sick? I really wonder if Woo-Hyun was able to see what Seul-Bi could see? He seems to be shocked about something?

Doctor Stranger Review July 11, 2014

This is a review of the Korean Drama Doctor Stranger. First of all the actors in this drama were awesome! Lee Jong-Suk, Park Hae-Jin, Kang-Sora, Bora. First of all this plot can be a very confusing one! Park Hoon and his father get kidnapped by North Korea. Park Hoon becomes a genius heart surgeon and goes back to South Korea and through all of this he is searching for his first love Jae-Hee. A lot happens in the first couple of episodes and it goes fast. There are so many times I am wondering what exactly is happening but realize if I keep watching things will be explained or at least will make some sense. There are a lot of times I thought that it was not very accurate and that it couldn’t happen in real life. But it was very fun to watch and kept me at the edge of my seat. I know I have watched dramas were the logic was a lot worse.

I think what really kept my interest was Park Hoon! He was just so awesome to watch! His character was just sooo fun!! He was just so playful and yet knew what he needed to do! I also respect the way that he was going to do everything he could to find Jae-Hee because it seems like not all men would be able to be that devoted to one person and go as far as he did to find and save her! I know there was a lot of complaints about the lack of chemistry between Hoon and Jae-Hee but I did not mind that much! I mean she had been through a lot of crap so I mean he less expressive personality may come also with her being in a prison camp for many years. I loved Park Hoon’s sense of right and wrong and being able to care about the patient even if it means he will be in trouble or lose something!

What I liked about this drama was that it was nonstop exciting and the characters pulled at the heart strings! I did not find myself getting bored at all even halfway through the series which happens alot in other dramas. I liked it also because it was a medical drama which also seems to keep me interested. I liked that they did try to put some comedy in the drama and found that even with the seriousness it was pretty fun. I loved that there was so many elements happening that all made connections in the end. I think what I learned in this drama is that you need to do the right thing no matter what you could get away with that it only leads to being corrupted. Park-Hoon’s clothing was also very interesting and I thought it was very unique. I thought the ending was very fulfilling and was very pleased with how the drama ended.

 

 

What I disliked about this drama was how unrealistic some of the things that happened. I found it a bit frustrating when somethings were not explained very well or fast enough for me. I did really find myself disliking anything else in the drama that was just minor. I know a lot of people were frustrated with Jae-Hee’s character and I agree it was a bit strange but it may have been supposed to be like that and I am perfectly fine with that.
 

Overall I would easily recommend this drama to anyone that loves some action, romance, and medical thrown into their Korean Dramas! I found it was not as typical as some Korean Dramas and found myself really enjoying the series! I mean who doesn’t find a genius doctor attractive!! I have to say I like him even more when he puts on his glasses!!  This drama did not disappoint me at all!!

Her Legend Episode 16 Recap/Summary September 26, 2013

The 16th episode starts with Jung-Soo rejecting Jin-Hoo. Manager Kang gets a call that the President collapsed and that he has to go get Jin-Hoo. Jin-Hoo has been drinking and Manager Kang wakes him up and gets him to the hospital. Director Choi is there and tells them that President’s blood pressure hasn’t been good and he collapsed at dawn and that his health has had a turn for the worse. He tells him that President has passed the critical stage.

Director Choi tells Kyung-Hee and Manager Kang that they want to disband the Luna team and Kyung-Hee agrees but thinks the timing isn’t good. Manager Kang also doesn’t think that they should disband Luna right now and when Kyung-Hee leaves Director Choi scolds him for trying to interfere with his managing. Director Choi tells him that he needs to choose between people and the company. Manager Kang tells him that he has known him for a long time and that remembers him saying that the people change the company and therefore will choose the people over the company. Jin-Hoo is with the President and he wakes up and Jin-Hoo promises that he won’t cause him anymore grief and that he will work hard and even go to arranged meetings. President wants to record it and Jin-Hoo reassures him and gives him his word. Jung-Soo is with her friend and she is trying to figure out why people like knockoffs and her friend explains that people want to seem luxurious even if they can’t afford it.

Kyung-Hee goes to President and they are talking about Jin-Hoo and he tells her he was really hard on him when he was young. He didn’t condone him being childish and punished him on purpose. He tells her to be patient and wait for him and she asks if she can call him grandfather and he agrees and calls her by her name.

Jin-Hoo comes in and he walks her out and she tells him about Director  Choi disbanding Luna and that he shouldn’t be so cold to her because he might need her help someday. Do-Young and her husband are told by their lawyer that the Jung-Soo Mr. Woo saw earlier is the niece to Uncle. The lawyer tells him that Jung-Soo’s mom died of brain cancer 17 years ago and she was a singer and after she passed Jung-Soo went to live with Uncle. The lawyer tells them that Uncle only had one niece and that Seo-Hyun(Kyung-Hee) social security number is under the name Kyung-Hee and is Uncle’s biological daughter. Mr. Woo figures that Kyung-Hee wasn’t Uncle’s niece but his biological daughter and Do-Young comes in overhearing this. Do-Young thinks that it could be a mistake and they both get confused trying to figure it out. Kyung-Hee comes home and Do-Young is shocked and leaves the room, Mr. Woo tells her that she isn’t feeling well and that she is going to bed.

The next morning Do-Young acts coldly to Kyung-Hee.  Kyung-Hee meets with Jung-Soo and asks if she had met with her adoptive parents and she says no and makes fun of her being so anxious. Jung-Soo asks if she set up President Bae and she won’t admit to anything. Jung-Soo is on the search to figure out what a luxury good is and talks to the ladies at the market. Jung-Soo goes to her Uncle and tells him that she wants him to help her by making a quality bag. She wants to change the Dong Dae Mun market and make a luxury bag.

Jung-Soo leaves and as she is walking down the stairs her shoe comes off and it reminds her of when Jin-Hoo picked up her shoe for her. Do-Young is watching Aunt clean and she gives her, her month’s pay and tells her that she is needed anymore.

Do-Young sees her art gallery booklet and remembers Jung-Soo and recalls that she called herself Kyung-Hee and starts crying. Mr. Woo is with Uncle and he asks about seeing Jung-Soo at house not that long ago and Uncle starts crying. He gets on his knees and tells him that Seo-Hyun is not Jung-Soo but she is her daughter. That in a moment of greed he did something unforgivable and asks for forgiveness. Mr. Woo decides that for now they won’t say anything because his wife needs time to deal with it and for him not to tell Aunt.

Manager Kang is with Jin-Hoo and Jin-Hoo is going to stop rebelling and Kang asks why he won’t trust Jung-Soo. Manager Kang tells him that Jung-Soo didn’t come to the company for revenge on Kyung-Hee. Jin-Hoo tells him that she chose the design rights over him and that she requested it, and that he is scared of her now and isn’t the Jung-Soo that he knows. Manager Kang finds Jung-Soo and he asks why she hasn’t told Jung-Soo the truth and she says she gave it shot to be with him but that her feelings weren’t sincere. Manager Kang says he doesn’t believe her and knows she is hurting, he tells her that President collapsed and Jin-Hoo is having a hard time coping. The President is rushed into surgery and Kang and Choi are there and Choi tells Kang that he is the only one he chose and not to forget that. Earlier the two of them were with the President and the President chose to give him his shares and transfer the management rights over to him. Director Choi protests and says that he was recruited to the company 30 years ago and 2nd to him was President’s son and he never put in a full effort because he was his son. He was sad when President’s son passed away but was relieved because he thought he had the chance of getting the company and now is upset that it will be passed to Jin-Hoo in the end

The President is shocked by all of this and collapses and goes into surgery. Jin-Hoo comes and Director Choi reassures Jin-Hoo it will be alright. Manager Kang goes drinking. The surgery is over and Director Choi and Jin-Hoo go in to see President and the doctor tells him that the surgery went well and to wait for a while for him to wake up.

Manager Kang texts Jin-Hoo to not trust Director Choi too much. Kyung-Hee goes home and Mr. Woo tells his wife about Kyung-Hee not being Jung-Soo and she is really upset and is sad that she was so mean to the real Jung-Soo.

Kyung-Hee hears everything outside their door and she goes to her own room and cries. Manager Kang tells Jin-Hoo about Director Choi trying to take over the company and Jin-Hoo is very upset that Choi his father’s friend would do that to him and starts crying and Manager Kang stops him from storming out.

Kyung-Hee goes to work early and she phones Manager Goo to move up the launching date for Alberto. Director Choi tries to see the President and is stopped by bodyguards and Jin-Hoo comes saying they are there to keep Director Choi out. Manager Kang is scolded by Director Choi for betraying him and Manager Kang tells him that he betrayed himself. Manager Kang gives Jin-Hoo advice to get more shares to stop Director Choi from getting into power and suggests he get Kyung-Hee to help him by getting her shares. Jung-Soo goes to the hospital trying to find out information on President and Jin-Hoo catches her. She tells him she thought he might have collapsed because of her and he tells that he did not so she can go back and not worry.

Jin-Hoo and Kyung-Hee talk and he asks for help and she wants instead to get engaged but not to marry. She tells him that it will be a huge threat for his opponent and she believes it will be her last chance at survival. Do-Young is waiting in the car with the lawyer for Jung-Soo and she walks by and Do-Young calls out to her. She tells her it is her Do-Young and Jung-Soo asks if she recognizes her and they both start crying and this is how the 15th episode ends.

The truth is finally out!! I am surprised that Do-Young is so disgusted of Kyung-Hee and that she doesn’t feel like she was more of a daughter to her! It felt good when Do-Young was sad that she hurt Jung-Soo’s feelings! I cannot wait for the next episode to see them reunited again!! I love that Manager Kang does the right thing and helps his friend! I guess Director Choi was trying to say to Kang was that with Jin-Hoo out of the picture and Choi in charge he would potentially leave the company to him when he retires. I love that Manager Kang is trying to help Jin-Hoo and Jung-Soo work out their problems!! I am not sure how it will help Kyung-Hee to be engaged with Jin-Hoo? I guess then Mr. Woo won’t be able to kick her out of his company because their relationship will be beneficial for him??  I was also thinking with the President out of the picture then Jung-Soo and Jin-Hoo could see each other again?

Her Legend Episode 15 Recap/Summary September 25, 2013

 

The 15th episode starts with Jin-Hoo being frustrated about what he had said to Jung-Soo. Jung-Soo goes back to the office and works and ends ups staying the night. She meets Jin-Hoo at work trying to avoid her and she tells him that she will forget what he said to her yesterday because it doesn’t make sense for him to like her and he tells her that no one needs a reason to like someone and gets mad and walks away. Kyung-Hee had overhead the conversation and then runs into Jung-Soo and she asks if he confessed to her and she refuses to tell. They have a talk and Kyung-Hee tells her that she has never won against her and that it will continue like that so she shouldn’t go against her. Kyung-Hee asks why Do-Young has to be hers and that she has been loved for the last 8 years by them. Jung-Soo tells her that Do-Young was not a lottery ticket that she was searching for, for 18 years instead she was someone that her mother gave to her. Kyung-Hee tells her that she has worked hard and cried as much as her and that even if they found out she was fake they would still love her. Jin-Hoo has chosen her but Kyung-Hee is going to work hard to win him. Jung-Soo is tearing and tells her to to mistake her greed for hard work, that she got Do-Young through deception and manipulation. Kyung-Hee tries to hit her and Jung-Soo catches her hand and tells her that she has already lost to her.

Jung-Soo can’t find her design book and they get a call from  the sample studio so Jung-Soo goes down there and Dae-Poong is looking through her designs and is impressed. He shows her the fabric that he has made and asks her to get the sample so they can make it. He tells her that it was all thanks to JIn-Hoo because he brought her design books to him to prove to him that they had good designs by Jung-Soo.

Kyung-Hee is told about Dae-Poong making Jung-Soo’s designs. Jung-Soo goes frantically around looking for Jin-Hoo and tries phoning him but gets no answer. As she is walking up the stairs she loses her shoe and Jin-Hoo is walking up and picks it up, goes to her, wipes her foot and puts her shoe back on for her as she protests.

Aunt is talking to Uncle on the phone and tells him that Kyung-Hee’s adoptive father wants to come see him and she tells him to hurry come home. Jung-Soo is talking to Kyung-Ho and he tells her that no one is home so she goes inside her Aunt’s house. Aunt is home and tries to make her feel bad and Jung-Soo gets some clothing and on the way out she meets Do-Young’s husband and he picks up her work badge and sees that her name is Jung-Soo.

He visits the Aunt to see how she is doing and almost asks about Jung-Soo and then leaves it . Jung-Soo goes to see Jin-Hoo and she tells him that she was wrong earlier and wants to do the installment plan. He gets mad and thinks she is not doing it for the right reasons and not using her feelings. He goes to her and hugs her, Jung-Soo is shocked and then Manager Kang knocks on the door and Jung-Soo pushes him off and runs out.

Do-Young is sleeping and she remembers when Jung-Soo dropped the honey and Aunt gets mad and slaps her. Do-Young wakes up Aunt is there and Do-Young is shocked. Do-Young then asks questions about Kyung-Hee when she was little and is trying to figure out the Aunt feels about Kyung-Hee. Do-Young’s husband is with the lawyer and is looking into Kyung-Hee’s papers and he tells them that on the registry she is called Kyung-Hee but they changed her name and called her Jung-Soo. In the office Jung-Soo tells him that the sample should be done tonight and then he texts her to go for dinner and she says she can’t and he gets mad. Ah-Ra figures out they are texting each other and so they both deny it and Jung-Soo goes to check on the sample. Dae-Poong is working the sample but he has shaky hands and is no far along, and he says he had a little bit of soju. He cuts his hand and she tries to help him but he keeps working and then starts crying and saying he can’t do it and then he gives her a number and address of someone else that can make it for her.

The man agrees to do it and they work on it all night. 

The showcase for the two designs is about to start and Jung-Soo isn’t there. Jin-Hoo goes to see Dae-Poong and he says he already gave her the sample model. Jung-Soo gets there just as the showcase is starting and then both teams present their work. Kyung-Hee’s team did a python leather and it is a part of the Rosa line. 

Jung-Soo presents their embroidery leather purse and the purpose was to take away from the cold look of leather. 

The majority of the people judging the purses liked Kyung-Hee’s Alberto design but they still have to get the internet evaluation. Kyung-Hee’s team has champagne to celebrate. Jin-Hoo tries to question Jung-Soo about where she has been and she tells him that she will tell him later and he lets it go. In the internet evaluation both bags get the same number of votes. Kyung-Hee is on the phone and tells them that if the internet results are flipped that they have no choice but to use this route. All the street markets are carrying Jung-Soo’s design of purse and Jung-Soo and Jin-Hoo are in a meeting and are told that it has been leaked. Jung-Soo then leaves and runs to the factory where the man made their purse and no one is there, she then goes to the police station and the man is there and he tells her that she should have told him that it was a sample bag. He tells the cops that the woman brought the design and asked him to have it out in the markets within a week, and if he did she told him she would give him money. Jung-Soo believes that President Bae was set up and that she wasn’t the one who ordered him to do that. The cop asks her why a big company would get a small factory to make their sample and she tells him the truth. Kyung-Hee and Jin-Hoo are in a meeting and they are saying that Jung-Soo leaked the design and that the company will demand compensation for damages and it will be difficult for her to evade prosecution. Kyung-Hee talks to Jin-Hoo and she tells him that her and Jung-Soo are cousins and that she wants to exact her revenge on Kyung-Hee and that she had planned meeting him and coming to this company. 

Jin-Hoo picks up Jung-Soo from the station and scolds her always doing the things they way she wants and doesn’t think about herself and instead of others. Kyung-Hee goes to the President and tells him that Jin-Hoo leaked that information for Jung-Soo and that the design leaked was also intentional. She tells him that she wants him to help because Jin-Hoo doesn’t believe him.

President has a meeting with Jung-Soo and her relationship with Jin-Hoo is ill-fated because he leaked the information and he keeps trying to help her that he is getting hurt in the process. He then says that he will give her anything for her to leave and break all contact with Jin-Hoo. Jung-Soo gets teary and tells him that Jin-Hoo isn’t a business transaction. He tells her that this will be the only chance for her to choose and that once she leaves this room Jin-Hoo will be out of her life. She tells him to hand over the rights to her design. 

Jin-Hoo goes running to see the President and he tells her she left and with her design rights and that she knew this was going to happen. He then runs and finds her leaving and catches up to and asks her why she wanted her design rights and what she gave up for them. He asks her if it was really a coincidence when they met at the airport and what was sincere. She tells him from the beginning it was a sham and that it was everything. she tells him she chose the design rights over him and she doesn’t want to break her promise with the President and this is how the 15th episode ends.

Wow Kyung-Hee really raised the level of deception and manipulation in this episode!! she really pulled out the big guns to squish Jung-Soo! but I mean she really shouldn’t be doing that because now she has nothing to lose, it will make it easier for her to go do Do-Young and reveal the truth! She should have just done that from the start and I think things would have turned out better for her because she has had to lower herself to try to hurt Kyung-Hee. Kyung-Hee made sure to get to everyone first to give her slant of the story because Jung-Soo wasn’t sharing it, she used it to her own advantage. Jung-Soo should have been communicating with Jin-Hoo and then he could have steered her in the right direction. Of course Kyung-Hee was the one that made the factory owner make all the bags because Jung-Soo wouldn’t even had the money to pay him! I mean she doesn’t even have anywhere to live! I mean doesn’t Jin-Hoo realize that Jung-Soo isn’t that great of an actor to pull that all off? I mean if she wanted to get back at Kyung-Hee wouldn’t Jung-Soo have tried to seduce him? I mean she didn’t do a very good job at trying to secure him! she paid more attention to Manager Kang than him in the beginning? I mean why would she plan to have her leather samples in her book missing when she went for the interview? she would have never guessed that he would have given her a job? I have say it was very Cinderella-esque when he put her shoe back on for her!!  I am not really sure why she wanted her design rights? what does that help? Is she going to make the bag with a different company? Does that mean that the company also dropped the charges because the President made her a deal? I guess I will just have to wait for the next episode to get those answers!!

Her Legend Episode 14 Recap/Summary September 19, 2013

The 14th episode starts with Jung-Soo meeting Kyung-Hee at work and shocks her. Kyung-Hee asks why she is here and is told that she is here to slowly destroy Kyung-Hee and enjoy watching her squirm. Kyung-Hee tries to convince Jung-Soo to study abroad and Jung-Soo tells her that it would benefit both of them and therefore doesn’t want to do it. Kyung-Hee is told that by Manager Goo that Jung-Soo was hired by Director Choi and will be working with the Luna team. Kyung-Hee angrily shoves some papers off her desk. Eun-Joo the rookie and Jung-Soo are both of the Luna team and the team’s office is in a old building that hasn’t been used for a while. Jin-Hoo is upset but Jung-Soo stops him and her and Eun-Joo start cleaning it up. Ah-Ra comes in and is also assigned to the Luna team, she asks for forgiveness from Jung-Soo and Jung-Soo is okay and has forgiven her. Kyung-Hee goes to speak to Director Choi about hiring Jung-Soo, he tells her that Luna is the pacemaker and that Alberto the foreign brand will be the one being sold in the stores. He tells her that Luna will be separating from ShinHwa and that they are a lost cause. Kyung-Hee then is trying to figure out how this could be that Jin-Hoo would also want to be a part of the lost cause but she figures the President would never allow it. On the Luna team they talk about taking Jung-Soo’s design and improving it.

The Alberto needs to keep their design with the Rosa line and they need to fit in with the same image. At the Luna meeting Jung-Soo wants to use artificial leather made from different animals. Ah-Ra goes to Manager Goo and tells her about this idea and Manager Goo tells her that she has to continue spying for them. Jung-Soo meets Manager Kang and they try to work out the awkwardness from the last time and she tells him she wasn’t mad but just emotional at that time. She understands that he was also trying to be fair to Kyung-Hee. He thinks that she is upset that Kyung-Hee was the adopted child because Kyung-Hee was mean to her at the company. He asks her why she left home and she doesn’t answer.

Ah-Ra suggests going to a gallery to hunt for an idea and Jin-Hoo eventually agrees. They go to the gallery and Do-Young is also there.

Jung-Soo and Do-Young run into each other and Do-Young wants to talk to Jung-Soo. She tells her that she had heard her design got stolen and that someone tricked Kyung-Hee and did not do it on purpose. Do-Young asks her if they have met before and she says no and then asks for her name. Jung-Soo tells her that her name is Eun Kyung-Hee and Do-Young thinks Eun is a rare name.

Jung-Soo ends up crying and Jin-Hoo finds her and takes her in his car and lets her cry.

When she is done they do some research of people’s bags on the street. Jung-Soo approaches one guy with an unusual bag and wants to see it and he thinks she is hitting on him. Jin-Hoo gets involved and buys the bag from him and they go back to the office. Jung-Soo works through the night and Jin-Hoo also stays but continually falls asleep.

The next morning they look tired and Kyung-Hee sees them walking to the washrooms together. Jung-Soo has an idea to put velvet on top of the leather. Manager Goo tells Kyung-Hee about the artificial leathers but that it won’t be possible to accomplish it. Jung-Soo and Kyung-Hee run into each other and Kyung-Hee tells her that she has heard about the artificial leather and Jung-Soo tells her that she shouldn’t be treating her this way because she can change her mind about telling Do-Young at any moment. Eun-Joo tells everyone that they have been assigned Manager Kim Dae-Poong to be their technician to make a sample and that he is problematic because he is a drunk. Dae-Pong comes in drunk asking for a iced coffee and Jin-Hoo stops Jung-Soo from getting one and Dae-Pong gets offended and leaves.

Uncle tells Aunt that he wants to tell the Woo’s the truth and that it is a punishment for Kyung-Hee to keep lying. Aunt calls Kyung-Hee that Uncle is going to Sae-Kyung company and she runs over there. Kyung-Hee stops her uncle and tells them that Aunt is sick.

Kyung-Hee and Uncle go to talk and he tries to persuade to end it for her own good. She tells him that she wants to keep it up until the truth comes out and that she will lie as much as she has to stay the way it is. Uncle is upset that Kyung-Hee has turned out like this and cries.

Jung-Soo works late again and Jin-Hoo brings her supper and lies about having to do something and watches her work and takes care of her when she falls asleep.

 

Kyung-Hee has gone to the bar and doesn’t answer her phone call from Do-Young. Do-Young and her husband talk about Kyung-Hee and how it was strange she came to his work when she was looking for her Uncle. That the Uncle wanted to tell him something and that Kyung-Hee knows what that it is. Do-Young tells him that she found the ripped up picture of her mom. A driver drove to Manager Kang’s house and he pays her and gets in and Kyung-Hee leans on him wanting him to stay still for a bit because she has no one to lean on but that she doesn’t have feelings for him.

Jung-Soo goes to talk to a manufacturer and he tells her that she needs Dae-Poong because he is the real expert and would know how to process the leather the best. Jung-Soo and Jin-Hoo go to see Dae-Poong and they apologize to him and explain what they want. He tells her that he wants her to sing and that is the best way for him to work well and she agrees and sings a song for him. He gives her a thumbs up and they leave.  Jin-Hoo gets mad and tells her not to sing because it makes her look easy. He tells her that he is so mad at himself because he can’t help her and that that he gets angry over nothing and laughs crazily over nothing and he feels pathetic and incompetent because of her.

Jung-Soo then remembers all the times with Jin-Hoo and comes to the realization of his feelings for her. She goes to his house and when he comes home she tells him that she got what he was saying earlier and that she understands his feelings. Jin-Hoo tells her to think of it as an installment just do what she can without burdening herself and if she is willing to come to him and this ends the 14th episode.

Aww that was such a sweet way of telling her to start seeing him as a potential boyfriend. I love it that he doesn’t force her to either accept him or reject him right away but to give her time and let them be comfortable with each other. The smile he gives at the end is sooo cute!!! I can’t believe that it took Jung-Soo that long to figure out that Jin-Hoo has feelings for her! sheesh!! I mean of course she is going to have to fall in love with him now!! I also have to say Manager Kang is also looking pretty good when Kyung-Hee rests her head on his shoulder.  If I was Jung-Soo I would let someone onto the secret because it is so frustrating by herself, but if she did that then they may spill the beans before her and she could lose control of the situation. I think she also can’t tell because she knows what she is doing is wrong and that she should stop. I mean even if Do-Young finds out she will have more memories with Kyung-Hee and see her more as a daughter than Jung-Soo because she has been with them longer. I guess because she has parents they would feel uncomfortable and stop being her adoptive parents maybe? When Jung-Soo met Do-Young I wondered if she was going to take on Kyung-Hee identity and introduce her as the cousin of Kyung-Hee! It makes sense Kyung-Hee took her identity so logically she can take Kyung-Hee’s identity. I hope that Ah-Ra isn’t going to keep spying on them because if she still does I wonder if the other team will try to copy their design and then presents theirs first so it looks like Luna copied Alberto’s design? This drama is still exciting and I cannot wait for next week’s episodes!!!
