To The Beautiful You Episode 11 Summary September 29, 2012

 

The eleventh episode starts off with Jae-Hee trying to hold back Tae-Joon because he wants to go talk to Ha-Na about her telling everyone that him and Ha-Na are dating. Jae-Hee also tries to tell Tae-joon that she is a girl but he tells her to tell him later.

Ha-Na is in her car and she is getting lots of phone calls and the director is angry with her announcement. Tae-Joon finds her at her house before she goes in and he tells her that they need to talk he drags her to a cafe. He asks her why she did it and gets angry with her and tells her to stop it. She says she won’t and she gets mad about his relationship with Jae-Hee. Ha-Na asks him if he likes Jae-Hee, he can’t answer so she gives him an ultimatum to date her or kick Jae-Hee out.

Jae-Hee is visiting Sang-Chu and she discusses that Tae-Joon will be angry with her for not telling him that she is a girl and she cries.

Eun-Gyeol is kicking soccer balls, he flashbacks to his time with Jae-Hee and the time he would tell her something after he makes the team. Jae-Hee and Eun-Gyeol meet up walking she asks how the match went and he says good. He asks if she has been crying and she says no.

Jae-Hee goes back to her dorm and it starts raining, she goes out with her umbrella and waits for Tae-Joon. They meet in the rain and they go back to their dorm room and go to bed.

In Ha-Na’s classroom everyone is looking at the tablet and reading the news of Tae-Joon and Ha-Na dating. This spreads to the rest of Korea and to a group of girls protesting their relationship.

Tae-Joon gets a lot of attention with the news of the two dating as he walks down the hallway at school.

Jae-Hee is doing the laundry, she flashbacks to Johnny and he wants to know the answer to his question of them dating. Jae-Hee tells him he has been like a brother to her and he tells her that he knows what she is trying to say. He tells her that he will always be on her side and they end things amiably.

Eun-Gyeol sees her in the laundry room so he puts faces on his sock and does a sock puppet show for her. He joins her and she asks why he wasn’t in class he tells her because he slept it because of the match yesterday. He asks her why she does her laundry everyday and he helps pull out the clothes and notices they are Tae-Joon’s clothing. He asks her if she likes Tae-Joon, she gets slightly mad and so he says he was just joking.

Tae-Joon meets Ha-Na at their managers office, she threatens that if he doesn’t tell the manager that they are dating then she will tell her about Jae-Hee. Their manager freaks out at them and that everything will be relayed through their office.

Eun-Gyeol hears guys talking about Tae-Joon dating and he finally finds out about Tae-Joon and Ha-Na.

Ha-Na gets a text from Jae-Hee asking to meet to talk.

Eun-Gyeol remembers the day before when Jae-Hee was crying and realizes that if was probably the reason she was crying. Eun-Gyeol pulls Tae-Joon aside and asks if he likes Jae-Hee, Tae-Joon tells him not to get involved. Eun-Gyeol tells him not to make Jae-Hee cry anymore because he likes her.

Jae-Hee and Ha-Na meet, Jae-Hee tells her that she is sorry and asks why she didn’t tell Tae-Joon that she is a girl. Ha-Na asks why she even pretended to be a boy. Jae-Hee asks if she can tell Tae-Joon she is a girl and Ha-Na tells Jae-Hee that she doesn’t have permission to tell him yet.

Tae-Joon is in the dorm and Jae-Hee comes in he asks her where she was and if she was with Eun-Gyeol. She says no and he tells her to not stay out so late. Tae-Joon goes to grab her and ends up touching her on her chest and he awkwardly says he is going for a run. Jae-Hee winces in pain, he asks if her stomach hurts and she says no so Tae-Joon leaves the room. Tae-Joon is in the hall and holds his beating heart. Tae-Joon wonders what the date is and pulls out her calendar.

Jae-Hee goes to see Dr. Jang, she asks him if he has any pads because she used all of hers up.

Tae-Joon comes back and gives her some medicine for better digestion.

Seung-Ri and Jong-Min are waiting for Eun-Gyeol in his room. Hyun-Jae tells them to leave and that he will text them when Eun-Gyeol comes back.

Tae-Joon goes to feed Sang-Chu and talks about what to do with Ha-Na.

Ha-Na is in practice and gets a text from Tae-Joon that he is going to her school to talk to her. She practices her ribbon and flashbacks to her earlier discussions with Tae-Joon and she hurts her foot in practices. Tae-Joon tries calling her from the car.

Jae-Hee texts Eun-Gyeol is call her, Tae-Joon comes in and says he didn’t get to meet with Ha-Na. He says that they should go out and eat, he gets a call and finds out Ha-Na is hurt.

Tae-Joon goes to the hospital he meets his manager and she goes to talk to him. He goes into her room and he asks if she is okay and in pain, she says its just a sprain and that she isn’t in any pain. Tae-Joon flashbacks to the manager explaining that Ha-Na may have extensive damage to the ligaments in her ankle and that they will know after the results come out. She also explains that they haven’t told Ha-Na about it yet and he shouldn’t either. Back in her room ,he asks where her parents are and she says that are in Europe vacationing, she asks if he can spend the night here because she is scared and he agrees. Tae-Joon texts Jae-Hee that he will stay the night and not to wait up for him.

Ha-Na is taken care of by Tae-Joon and he leaves to go to the bathroom, she says she is happy that she got hurt. Tae-Joon’s phone gets a text from Jae-Hee saying that Ha-Na is probably okay and that he will probably be uncomfortable sleeping there, Ha-Na erases the message.

Tae-Joon walking back meets Seung-Ri who says that he has appendicitis and why did he come visit him. Tae-Joon says he didn’t come to see him but another friend. The doctor scolds him for walking around Seung-Ri says this is his father and he asks if he was the one in Ha-Na’s room. Seung-Ri freaks out and asks what happened to her and his father pulls him away.

Jae-Hee is checking her phone at the dorm and Tae-Joon is checking his phone at the hospital both wondering why they haven’t received a text message. Jae-Hee wakes up and hears Tae-Joon filling up a backpack, he tells her that he will have to stay in the hospital again and that there is a chance she won’t be able to do gymnastics again. She says that he should take care of himself too, he hesitates and then says goodbye.

Jae-Hee is in class and they ask her where Tae-Joon is and where Eun-Gyeol is.

Tae-Joon and his manager are talking and she says she will have to tell Ha-Na already and he volunteers to tell her.

Jae-Hee goes to the hospital with flowers and meets Seung-Ri and he tries to take the flowers from her thinking that she came to visit him. Tae-Joon goes into the room and says he has to tell her something about her injury and goes to hold her hand. Jae-Hee opens the door and sees Ha-Na crying into Tae-Joon’s shoulder, so she closes the door and walks away.

Jae-Hee cleans the dorm room and then goes on the computer, Seung-Ri comes in wondering if she has heard from Eun-Gyeol because he had told him that he was going home. Seung-Ri explains that he has really been down because he didn’t make the nationals and he gets mad at her for not knowing this about him. She asks him if he knows where he lives.

Eun-Gyeol is on a patio, throwing a ball to his dog, his mom sticks her head out asking if he is not going to school and he says he is staying one more day since he came because she is sick.

The doorbell rings and Jae-Hee is at the door they go sit on a bench, she asks why he didn’t tell her that he didn’t make the nationals and he says because he was embarrassed. He says sorry and she also says sorry because she didn’t pay enough attention to him. He tells her that he didn’t go to school because his mom has been a little sick and he lost is cell on the bus ride. He says that those are all excuses and that he needed time to think, he then asks how Tae-Joon and Ha-Na are. She tells him that Ha-Na is really sick and that she is thinking that she maybe shouldn’t have come here for Tae-Joon. Eun-Gyeol heart starts beating and he moves closer to her almost puts his hand around her but doesn’t.

Ha-Na is watching a video of her doing gymnastics on her laptop. Tae-Joon comes in saying she should stop watching that and she asks him to get her a glass of water. She goes through is phone pictures and finds a picture of Jae-Hee. Tae-Joon comes back and she asks him that he decided to jump again was because of Jae-Hee. He nods his head and she asks why he is doing this to her and that she has nothing left and that she won’t let him go.

Eun-Gyeol is watching Jae-Hee play with his dog, Jae-Hee sits with her phone and looks at the old text message from Tae-Joon. Eun-Gyeol says to himself that he can’t stand watching her in pain anymore. Eun-Gyeol hugs his mom and says sorry because he might do something that will shame her in the future and she tries to figure it out. His dad overhears and takes out his golf club and chases him around the house with it.

Ha-Na tells Tae-Joon that there is somewhere that she needs to go out of the hospital. He takes her in a wheel chair to a gym, she tells him if she hadn’t been hurt she would have competed here today. He tells her if she works hard on her rehab she will be able to do it again, she says she really liked her program this time and decides to show him it even with her sore foot. She flashbacks to her as a kid and she is explaining that she is going to do gymnastics because he said that gymnastics girls are pretty and they make a promise for her to win a medal. While performing she falls and cries, she touches the floor and says thanks for everything and then goodbye.

Tae-Joon brings Ha-Na back, he tells her that its better when she is honest with him. She tells him to leave and that she wants to be alone, her parents are coming back today. She tells him that she doesn’t want to chase someone who doesn’t like her and that she had liked him because he was a good athlete and now he isn’t that good anymore. She says sorry and that she is going to get over him and get someone better.

Eun-Gyeol and Jae-Hee drive back silently and go into the dorm. Eun-Gyeol stops her and says he has something to tell her. Tae-Joon comes back and sees the two of them talking. Eun-Gyeol tells her that he likes her and this is how the eleventh episode ends.

To The Beautiful You Summary Episode 10 September 15, 2012

Episode ten starts off with Eun-Gyeol seeing them in bed and then going back to his dorm room. Hyun-Jae asks him what is the matter and he goes to lie in his bed and sighs.

Jae-Hee and Tae-Joon are in their dorm and it is awkward, Jae-Hee goes to use the bathroom and Tae-Joon grabs her and asks if she is better, he touches her forehead and tells her that her fever dropped. As Jae-Hee leaves for the bathroom she drops a bag and what looks like tampons come out, she quickly puts them back in. Tae-Joon turns away pretending not to see, he gets a text from his manager telling him that he has an interview today and to leave time open.

Jae-Hee in the bathroom tells herself to get her head on straight and she flashbacks to being in bed with Tae-Joon. She also tells herself that she can’t keep developing feelings for Tae-Joon.

Eun-Gyeol is in his room trying to figure out what happened between Tae-Joon and Jae-Hee. He imagines that Jae-Hee found some money by Tae-Joon’s bed and they both go to get it bump heads and fall into bed together. He then imagines that Jae-Hee flips out of her bed and into Tae-Joon’s while she is still sleeping. He then imagines that Tae-Joon and Jae-Hee having a pillow fight and when they are done she asks to sleep down here because she is lazy and they jump into bed.

Tae-Joon is in an interview and they want to know if he has YIPs syndrome, Tae-Joon says it was just a slump. Tae-Joon tells them that he has decided to stay here and not go to Canada with Coach Holten because he can get the training in Korea. The reporters ask why he is staying and he tells them that he has someone he wants to show his jumping to. They ask who it is and guess that it is Ha-Na.

Tae-Joon and his manager are in the car and she asks him if he is dating anyone and he replies no. She asks if it is Ha-Na he says no and that he told them because he didn’t want to lie.

Johnny is in his studio looking at a picture of Jae-Hee, his secretary tells him what his schedule is and she tells him that Jae-Hee looks a little like a girl in the picture. Johnny tells her that it is a girl that she is a frog princess and he is going to try to remove the spell. He then flashbacks to Tae-Joon and him playing basketball and telling him that he is not going to step back from them.

Eun-Gyeol comes into Tae-Joon’s dorm room asking where Jae-Hee is and gives him a book to return to her. Eun-Gyeol also tells him that there is going to be a dorm inspection soon and that he should throw away things he doesn’t want to be seen. Tae-Joon then remembers Jae-Hee’s tampon bag and he goes into another dorm room asking for x-rated dvd or magazine. The guys give him 2 magazines that were very well hid and he goes back to his room seeing Jae-Hee and he hides the magazines behind his back. They hear someone call out for dorm two to come in the hallway.

Everyone comes into the hallway and the principle in charge of the dorms comes out and starts going through each room. When they get to their room the principle finds the x-rated magazine and gives Tae-Joon a hard time about it then leaves.

Jae-Hee goes to Eun-Gyeol and returns a soap she had borrowed and asks about his training. Eun-Gyeol then talks about Tae-Joon having the magazine after he even told him about the check.

All the students who had stuff in their dorm that weren’t supposed are running laps around the field at night.

At Ha-Na’s school girls are talking about the person in the article that Tae-Joon wants to stay for and they all assume that it is Ha-Na. She agrees and all her friends are envious.

Jong-Min, Eun-Gyeol, Jae-Hee and Seung-Ri are sitting and reading the article and they also think that it is Ha-Na in the article. Eun-Gyeol complains about Ha-Na and Seung-Ri stands up for her.

Jae-Hee visits Sang-Chu and Tae-Joon goes up behind her and pokes her cheek. She isn’t surprised and instead slightly sad, Tae-Joon sits next to her and jokes with Sang-Chu. Jae-Hee asks him about the article and why he isn’t going to Canada he tells her that he has a reason to stay and that it isn’t Ha-Na. Jae-Hee gets mad, and Tae-Joon asks because she wants him to go to Canada and she says its not like that. Tae-Joon says that she wants him to jump no matter what and that is all that she wanted from him. Jae-Hee questions him more and tells him that he had wanted to go badly and there isn’t a reason for him not to go. He doesn’t answer her and she says sorry for meddling and leaves.

Tae-Joon sits there for a bit and then calls after Jae-Hee, who is walking and crying. Tae-Joon is running after her but Johnny pulls in his car in front of her and he wants to borrow her and shows her the note he got from the school to take her out. Johnny sees Tae-Joon in the distance and then helps push Jae-Hee in the car and they leave.In the car Johnny ask why she is in a pig mood and makes some jokes.

Tae-Joon goes back to the dorm and gets a call from Ha-Na asking if he was going to his cousins Chan-Jo exhibition and basically forces him to go.

Eun-Gyeol is playing soccer and flash backing to finding the two in bed together. His coach comes up and tells him that the youth national entry is going to be announced this week.

Johnny takes her to his studio and says that she is going to be his partner to go to a function since he doesn’t know anybody in Korea. His secretary goes to help her get dressed and ready for the event.

Tae-Joon and Ha-Na are dressed up and driving to the exhibition. She asks him about not going to Canada and he says he just not. Then she says its good and badmouths Canada.

Eun-Gyeol is in a clothing shop looking at clothes.

Jae-Hee is dressed up and getting food from a buffet, Johnny comes over and she complains about wearing a wig. Tae-Joon and Ha-Na come to the party and they see Tae-Joon’s cousin and welcomes them.

Eun-Gyeol practices giving clothes to Jae-Hee in the mirror. Hyun-Jae comes into their dorm room and looks at the bag of clothes and says to Eun-Gyeol that thanks because it is his birthday. He grabs it out of his hands and then he feels bad and says that he will buy him something later. Hyun-Jae says forget it and goes leaves angrily as Eun-Gyeol gives him a birthday punch which makes him more angry.

Jae-Hee is with Johnny and he says he is going to show her something fun and they leave the room but as they leave Tae-Joon gets a glimpse of them. Johnny tells her to go into a room and she finds pictures of herself and is touched. She asks about one frame with no picture, Johnny goes into a speech and tells her that he is confessing to her right now, he tells her to think about it and tell him later.

Jae-Hee rejoins the party and sees Tae-Joon and Ha-Na sitting outside and then again inside. Ha-Na sees her and Jae-Hee runs away Ha-Na runs after her. Tae-Joon chases after Ha-Na and tells her that he has something to tell her and tries to get her to leave. Johnny comes and tells them that they are not allowed to be back here and sends them away, he says sorry to Jae-Hee.

Tae-Joon is walking to the dorm and finds Johnny sitting on the steps waiting for him. He tells him that if he doesn’t make Jae-Hee happy that he should let her go and that he likes Jae-Hee. He tells him that he has confidence and doesn’t put needless pressure on her.

Tae-Joon to his room and checks on Jae-Hee who pretends that she is asleep.

Eun-Gyeol is practicing soccer, he sees Jae-Hee walking so he grabs the clothes and goes to her. He gives her the clothes and says that it was a bit small on him, she says thanks. He tells her that he has something to tell her but only when he makes the nationals.

Jae-Hee sits with Sang-Chu and asks him why she feels emotional when she sees Tae-Joon. Tae-Joon joins her, she tries to leave he grabs her shirt and pulls her back and takes her on the bus. He tells her that they are going to take pictures because he is bored. He pulls out some eggs and cracks it on her head, she tells him to give her the yolk and he gives it to her. She chokes and he pulls out a canned drink for her. They go to a park and take pictures together and they play together. They stop and sit and he tells her that he is not going to Canada because of Ha-Na but the reason why is something he can’t tell her because it is a secret. He says that he isn’t going anywhere and that she shouldn’t go anywhere either.

They go back on the bus and Tae-Joon has fallen asleep and falls on her shoulder, she touches his hair and then tells herself not to be greedy.

Ha-Na is in her bed and flash backs to seeing Jae-Hee at the exhibiition. She gets a phone call from her manager and tells her that she is booked live on friday, she says she doesn’t want to. Ha-Na goes to her desk and sees the yearbook with Jae-Hee in it and goes through the pages and finds Jae-Hee.

Teacher Lee is looking for Teacher Oh and meets Coach and she bugs him about eating ramen. He makes her some ramen and she asks him why he quit sports since he got silver at the world championships. He tells her that after his injury he learned something she asks him what and he touches the pot and burns himself, she grabs his hand. He then continues that he learned that high jump was his everything in his ability.

Johnny is looking at pictures of Tae-Joon and then of Jae-Hee.

Eun-Gyeol and his soccer team got on the bus, he sees Jae-Hee running towards the bus and he goes out and meets her. She gives him a shirt with the Korean flag that she embroidered onto it.

Jae-Hee goes to the dorm and Ha-Na is waiting for her, she drops all of Jae-Hee’s makeup on the floor. Jae-Hee begs her and Ha-Na does not agree and walks out of the room she meets some guys and asks where the office is. Ha-Na meets Dr. Jang and asks him if he knows that there is a girl living in the dorms. Dr. Jang pulls her aside and he texts Jae-Hee asking how she got caught and that he has detained her for now. She tells him that he is going to the school president, he has pulled her into his office and is trying to calm her down. He tells her that it isn’t good for Tae-Joon because it would look bad for Tae-Joon since he was sharing a room with a girl and people would talk. Dr. Jang says that they should settle this quietly and that during this time before it is settled that she should keep it a secret.

Ha-Na walks away and runs into Tae-Joon and she tells him that Jae-Hee is a girl, she figures out from his expression that Tae-Joon knew and start crying and then asks him if he is not going to Canada because of her. She hits him and she tells him that she has had so many heartaches because of this. He says sorry and asks her to keep it a secret because Jae-Hee should be the one to tell her that she is a girl. Her cries while walking away and her driver comes out trying to console her and then tells her that he is driving her straight to the broadcast.

Eun-Gyeol is practicing at the match and is wearing the shirt Jae-Hee gave him underneath the other shirt.

Dr. Jang is with Jae-Hee and tells her that he has managed for her a day or two to get things figure out. He tells her not to be too heart broken because this wouldn’t have lasted that much longer. She flash backs to all the moments that she had with Tae-Joon.

Tae-Joon is sitting outside and he gets a text from Ha-Na and she tells him that she will keep his secret if he does her a favor and that she thinks he knows what the favor is.

Eun-Gyeol is getting off the bus and his coach gets a call and then call him and tells him the youth national announcement was out and that he didn’t make it. He is sitting in the stands holding onto the shirt that Jae-Hee made and starts crying.

Tae-Joon finds Jae-Hee and they are about to talk when they see Ha-Na on the tv on the live broadcast. She tells them that she has come to like somebody and that she and Tae-Joon are dating and she tells him that she blurted it out and that they are an item now. This is the end of the tenth episode.

I thought for sure that the favor that Ha-Na wanted was for Tae-Joon to go to Canada and then Jae-Hee would not get to be with him. I guess I underestimated her childishness and selfishness.  I feel sad just thinking how Eun-Gyeol is going to react when he finds out she is a girl and that she loves Tae-Joon anyway. I really hope that they will give him someone else that will make him happier than Jae-Hee but knowing Korean dramas they leave the guy who lost with nothing. I am happy that Johnny is not going to end up with her but I guess Tae-Joon needed a push for him to figure out his feelings for Jae-Hee. It was so cute when Tae-Joon went to get a dirty magazine to draw attention away from her things!! This was a very entertaining episode but I really wish that Tae-Joon would just tell her how he feels and maybe she could go back to being a girl.

To The Beautiful You Episode 9 Summary September 14, 2012

The ninth episode starts with off with Eun-Gyeol and Jae-Hee at her campfire and they see a shooting star, Jae-Hee makes a wish.

Ha-Na also sees the shooting star in the car with Tae-Joon.

Eun-Gyeol asks Jae-Hee what she wished and she tells him that she wished Tae-Joon would be able to fly like before. Eun-Gyeol questions her roommate love to be too much. She agrees and tells him that Tae-Joon was the reason he came to the school and that he gave her strength when things were hard. Jae-Hee asks him what he wanted to tell her and pretends he forgot. Eun-Gyeol then ask her if he was the one that gave her courage when times were hard would she have come and she says probably. Eun-Gyeol foot catches fire but he is okay.

Ha-Na angrily asks Tae-Joon if he is really going and he says that the coach from Canada was the reason for him starting high jumping but it is not for sure right now. He asks if she likes him and she says she doesn’t know because he has been there for her since she was young and has been happy around him. Tae-Joon says thanks for telling him about Canada beforehand. Tae-Joon touches her head and leaves Ha-Na crying.

Jae-Hee runs into Eun-Gyeol before class and compliments his haircut and tells him that he even looks handsome. Eun-Gyeol asks if she remember the hair and he remembers Jae-Hee finding a haircut in a magazine and tells him that it would look good on him.

The three of them are in class and Tae-Joon has a flashback to the night before where his father explains the situation and that Tae-Joon should meet coach Holten in Canada and he can go straight into training. He gives him the admission and plane ticket.

Jong-Min goes up to Eun-Gyeol and compliments his haircut, Eun-Gyeol says he didn’t change it for him. Jong-Min tells him that Serin Girl High School are dealing with a pervert. A man tried to drag a girl into his car but failed and drove away.

Jae-Hee is playing basketball with a bunch of guys and Tae-Joon finds them and he takes some pictures of her from a distance. She walks back with Eun-Gyeol, Tae-Joon and Seung-Ri someone asks for her phone but she realizes she forgot it so goes back to get it. A guy grabs her and puts her in his car, the three guys chase after the car. Jae-Hee asks what the guy is doing and he tells her that he is kidnapping her. Tae-Joon continues chasing but has to stop. The guy starts speaking in english and Jae-Hee recognizes him and calls him Johnny he stops the car at the gate. Tae-Joon then catches up with them and pulls Johnny out of the car and punches him. Tae-Joon asks if she is okay and she explains that she knows him, is really close to him in America and he loves to pull pranks.

Tae-Joon is in the bathroom washing his face, he gets a call from Eun-Gyeol and Tae-Joon explains that it was all a prank. Jae-Hee and Johnny are sitting in a cafe and he is surprised that she lasted that long in a male dormitory. She flashbacks to her asking him to help her with the paperwork to get into the school. He knocks her hat off and he sees her hair cut he eventually agrees to help her and then they hug.  Back to the cafe he tells her that he regrets doing the paperwork for her and then pinches her cheeks. Tae-Joon comes back and sees them joking around, he joins them and he says sorry for earlier. She explains that he is a close friend and that he is an almost famous photographer but quit college halfway through. She asks why he came to Korea and he says because he missed her, she spits out her drink. He then says that he also had a few projects lined up in Seoul and she teases her about being hurt and he then says that he was her first love. Jae-Hee tries to shut him up because she thinks Tae-Joon doesn’t know she is really a girl. He then says he thinks that her first kiss was with him too. Tae-Joon starting chewing his ice cubes loudly and angrily.

Eun-Gyeol is back in his room and he wonders if she should pretend he went crazy and confess. He then imagines running to Jae-Hee and confessing that he likes her and then that he loves her and almost kisses her. The police then take him away in handcuffs, Jae-Hee is annoyed and Tae-Joon is willing to testify. Eun-Gyeol then shakes his head and goes into another fantasy where he comes running up to Jae-Hee showing his uniform and tells her that he gets to represent the country, he then asks her to go out with him and she says yes.

Johnny is going to give them a ride back to school when Tae-Joon gets a text from his manager saying that she wants to talk about him going to Canada. Tae-Joon then leaves the two of them. Johnny tells her that he thinks that Tae-Joon knows that she is a girl, Jae-Hee assures him that Tae-Joon doesn’t know that she is a girl.

Tae-Joon meets his manager and she tells him its a good idea, Tae-Joon says that he will think about it and then begs her to buy him something to eat.

Tae-Joon is in his dorm and he goes up to Jae-Hee’s room while she is sleeping and picks up some magazines she dropped. Jae-Hee calls out his name twice and tells him not to eat it, he then grabs her covers and pulls them up to her chin. He sits on her bed and says that her mail must have gotten through to Coach Holten and he wonders if he should go to Canada. He flashbacks to moments they had between each other.

In class Jae-Hee is called to read the next passage and she sees Johnny in the window waving at her. She yells out what and then gets told to stand in the back of the class, Johnny makes funny faces and movements in the window.

Eun-Gyeol and Tae-Joon sit in the cafeteria watching Jae-Hee and Johnny talking. Johnny tells her that he came because he missed her and teases her. Eun-Gyeol and Tae-Joon leave angrily. Johnny asks to speak to her teacher for work and he is going to take pictures of the students.

Eun-Gyeol is playing soccer and Johnny is taking pictures, he also takes pictures of other students in other sports. Tae-Joon comes up to him and says that he doesn’t want his picture taken. Johnny says that he got permission from the school, his management and considers him to be the best shot so he will still take his picture. Jae-Hee comes up to them and says that he shouldn’t take Tae-Joon’s photo because he doesn’t want it. Johnny says that he is getting hurt because she keeps taking Tae-Joon’s side.

Tae-Joon is walking in the dark and the street light goes out as he walks by. Tae-Joon is in his dorm wondering where Jae-Hee is so late, he imagines her getting kissed by Johnny. He goes to leave and walks into Jae-Hee, he tells her that he was also just coming in. Jae-Hee explains that she went out with Johnny for supper, he asks if something happened. She thinks he is asking because of the picture incident and she explains that he really is a good guy but when he sees a good picture he gets obsessed. Tae-Joon then goes to wash up, and he wonders why he is acting like that.

Johnny is at his place and his secretary is going over what he has to do tomorrow and he asks for the afternoon off because he has got a date.

Jae-Hee is on the phone complaining when Tae-Joon comes in and she tells him that Johnny asked her to show him around Seoul. Tae-Joon then tells her that she doesn’t know enough about Seoul to show him around and that he will go too. She asks him why he would want to come and he tells her that he wants to show Seoul properly.

Eun-Gyeol is with the two of them and he invites himself along too because he thinks none of them know Seoul very well. Johnny complains at the number of them and they all go in his car to go sight seeing. They all play and have fun while sight seeing, Johnny takes lots of pictures of all of them. They all go out to a cafe and Jae-Hee orders orange juice and all the guys order the same but then Johnny orders espresso so then the rest of the guys change their orders to coffee too. Tae-Joon drinks it all down and Eun-Gyeol changes his mind and has a sip of Jae-Hee’s orange juice. Johnny shows them his studio and he does some work with all of them there.

Tae-Joon goes upstairs and looks at all of Johnny’s photos, he finds one covered, he uncovers it and its Jae-Hee. Johnny comes in and says that he has known her since a kid and never seen such a bright smile. Johnny then says that Jae-Hee still thinks that Tae-Joon thinks she is a boy but from what he could that isn’t true. He asks why Tae-Joon pretends that she is a boy and know that he knows it changes things. His secretary interrupts and Johnny leaves Tae-Joon.

Seung-Ri is looking at photos of Ha-Na on his phone when she flips over the railing and lands next to him, he tells her that outsiders are prohibited and she insults him so he says that she can’t go see Tae-Joon. He looks at her and sees lights and hears music and she can get past.

Johnny is now taking pictures of Jae-Hee and the others and his secretary comes in and says that two male models can’t make it for the next photo shoot. Johnny then figures out that Tae-Joon and Eun-Gyeol can be the replacement models and so they have a photo shoot with them too. Eun-Gyeol wonders how Johnny got Tae-Joon to do the photo shoot. Jae-Hee then flashbacks to her asking Tae-Joon to be the replacement model because she owes Johnny a lot and he just agreed. Johnny then pressures Tae-Joon to think of the person he loves in the photo and this bothers him.They are all driving home and Jae-Hee coughs and Johnny gives her a blanket.

Tae-Joon and Jae-Hee are in the dorm and she coughs, he asks if she is okay and she says she is fine. He then goes to touch her forehead and he says that she has a slight fever, she says she is fine and he says I guess fools can’t get sick. Tae-Joon goes into the bathroom and looks at his hand.

Eun-Gyeol is practicing soccer, his coach asks him why he is training so hard and he says because he needs to go to nationals to impress someone. He then hits the ball again and it hits the coach’s head.

Dr. Jang is touching Tae-Joon’s ankle and they talk about him going to Canada. Tae-Joon says he doesn’t know if he should go, Dr. Jang says that if it is for Jae-Hee’s sake he should go to Canada. Dr. Jang explains Occam’s razor and that he should look at it simply and that if he doesn’t want to go to Canada then don’t go and figure out if there is something more important than Coach Holten.

Tae-Joon goes back to the dorm and asks why it is dark, she says that the bulb is out and goes to change it. Tae-Joon then goes behind her on the ladder and hugs her, he says sorry and that she was about to slip and that his head has become clearer. He then goes out to get some fresh air and Jae-Hee wonders if he knows she is a girl but then brushes off that idea.

Johnny is looking at the photos from the shoot and is looking at the one with Tae-Joon thinking about the one he loves. He zooms in on his eye and can see Jae-Hee’s reflection. Tae-Joon comes to him and he tells him that he knows Jae-Hee is a girl and wants her by his side. Johnny throws a basketball and they decide to play and they play aggressively. Johnny asks him what it means that he wants her by his side, he says that Johnny shouldn’t be getting involved in it. Johnny says he thinks he knows where this is headed and that he can’t let him have her so he is going to steal her from him.

In the dorm Tae-Joon hears Jae-Hee get up, she says she needs some water and then almost falls over. Tae-Joon feels her head and tells her to sit and he gets her the water, he tells her to lie down in his bed and Tae-Joon tells her he is going to see if the nurse’s office is open. She grabs his hand and tells him not to leave, He wets a cloth and puts it on her head. He falls asleep next to her.

 

Eun-Gyeol comes in the room and finds Jae-Hee and Tae-Joon in bed together, everyone is completely shocked and this is how the episode ends.

In this episode I find it so unfair that Jae-Hee has everyone fallen in love with her! I mean three guys are all fighting over her!! even one thinks that she is a guy and he still would go out with her as a boy!! I love that Eun-Gyeol got a haircut because at first I really didn’t like his hair but it did grow on me!! omo the photo shoot with Tae-Joon without his shirt on !! and again Jae-Hee is sick/ hurt it has happened a bit too often in this series!! I get it that it is so attractive to have a male take care of you when you are sick but it seems to happen in every episode that she needs to be saved or she is sick and needs someone to help her. Korean dramas they are the boss of flashbacks!! It is like a mini music video when Tae-Joon relives the moments of him and Jae-Hee!! Anyway the next episode should be out and I will have to move onto the next video now!!

Sprout Episode 8 Summary and Review September 12, 2012

The eighth episode starts off with Hayato kissing Miku and Souhei watching in the distance. Souhei realizes something towards Miku but the two of them say goodbye and Sohei hides behind a van. Souhei wonders what is wrong with him and realizes that he has Miyuki and he flashes back to when he kissed her.

Souhei comes in and Miku greets him and he recalls that Miku has Hayato and flashbacks to seeing them on a date. Then he flashbacks to holding Miku in his arms and still wonders what he feels toward Miku.

Souhei comes down the stairs and hears Miku’s parents talking about traveling and they explain they are going to Atami for a trip to celebrate father’s retirement. Her dad asks Souhei to watch the house because they will be gone one night. Naoharu also leaves for the play offs and then Kiyoka also leaves to go to a villa with her boyfriend. Souhei and Miku beg Kiyoka not to leave and she asks why and the two of them look at each other she tells them to get along and leaves. Souhei and Miku move apart from each other and he asks if they should invite them over.

 

Takeru, Arata and Souhei are playing soccer outside and Arata wonders if he should also rent there and gets excited about the idea of living in the same place as Kiyoka.

Miku is on the steps talking on the phone telling Hayato that Ami and Fumiko couldn’t come and asks him to come and he says he will after his part-time work is done. Souhei comes in and she tells him that Hayato is coming later and he is not excited and then she wonders why he didn’t call him and Souhei wonders the same thing but he tells her that he thought he would have been busy working. Miku then realizes she is the only girl and asks Souhei about Miyuki.

Arata,Takeru, Miyuki,Miku and Souhei are all around the table and she brings out ice cream for everyone. Miku asks if Miyuki if she wants to put her stuff in her room and they go upstairs. Arata teases Takeru about liking Miyuki.

Miyuki and Miku are in her room and Miku is quickly cleaning up her room and Miyuki goes onto the balcony and seems to realize that he balcony is right beside hers and she looks out at the scenery. Miku asks her what she is looking at and she says she looking at the scenery because it is the same as what Souhei sees everyday. Miku says that it is not that nice of a  scenery and she says its because it the same scenery that she shares with Souhei.

Arata tells Souhei that he should sleep in Miyuki’s room and Hayato should sleep in Miku’s room but Takeru and Souhei don’t agree to that idea. The girls come and ask what they are talking about and they say taxes and act silly. Miku then says that they need to pick some stuff up and says that Takeru and Arata have to come with her.

The three are walking with groceries and they stop at the meat place and she tells them that she always meets Kou there and as they turn Kou is sitting there eating.

Arata, Takeru and Kou are at the house playing foosball, Miku and Hayato come in and he asks what Kou is doing and he tells him that barley tea is in the fridge. MIku says that Kou has made himself at home and they go upstairs. Miku tells him that tonight they are having a takoyaki party. Hayato stops by Miku’s room and Miku keeps walking she comes back and asks him what he is looking at and he says that  he thought that they would be in the same room tonight. She says because everyone is here and he says he is just joking and touches her shoulders and keeps walking. She says it sure is hot today.

All of them are around the table having the the takoyaki and have a cheer and all take a bite, they realize it is sour and she says it their special umeboshi. Kou then asks if BS is broadcasted and she says no and Arata and Takeru both say that they want to watch it too. Takeru and Arata say they have to leave soon because Europe is opening and that Takeru says he is going to watch it at Arata’s house and Kou is also invited. The three all then go to leave.

Takeru and Hayato are alone and he asks Takeru to take care of Kou, he agrees. Takeru then asks Hayato if he is dating Miku seriously and he says yes, Takeru goes on to say that he saw him and Miyuki at the bus stop. Hayato flashbacks to the hug and Takeru asks that Hayato won’t hurt anyone and Hayato says yes. The other guys come out and they leave.

The four of them are at the table, Miku asks if after they clean up they have baths and that Miyuiki, Miku and then the guys go and they talk about how having one toliet is something to get used to. Souhei says that when he first started living there Miku was scary. Hayato is very quiet and Miyuki notices.

Miyuki is on the floor on a mattress and Miku is in her bed. Miyuki asks if she is awake and asks if she can join her in her bed and Miku agrees. Miyuki asks if Hayato is her first boyfriend and Miku says yes and that is why she might be carried away at times. Miku asks what number is Souhei and Miyuki says that he is her third boyfriend. She goes on saying that Souhei is the first one that she loves this much.

Hayato and Souhei are on mats on the floor and Souhei says that today is pretty fun. Hayato says that it was scary because he never done a group hang out and have a girlfriend. Souhei says it not scary and that it is fine like that.

Miyuki says she hated herself but since she met Souhei she thought she was able to think she was amazing because Souhei liked her. After liking Souhei she changed, Miku says that she knows how she feels. She is not treated like a girl around people but with Hayato she is able to feel like a girl and like it. Miyuki says that she knows how she feels.

Souhei is thinking that he won’t betray Miyuki or Hayato while glancing at Hayato sleeping.

Souhei wakes up, Hayato’s bedding is all folded up.

Hayato is crouched beside the garden, Miyuki comes and they look at the plants and she wonders what these plants will be. Hayato tells her not to do things like that again, she agrees. Souhei comes out but they can’t see him, Miyuki says that she is sorry and that something was wrong with her that day, to do that to Hayato. Hayato then turns around and sees Souhei and he asks what they mean, Miku comes around the corner and asks if its true. Hayato comes toward her and he says yes, Miyuki says sorry and that she liked Hayato.

 

Okay the eighth episode I have been waiting for this to come out!! finally!! first off I found the ending a tad confusing apparently everyone is a bit upset but it doesn’t seem like Souhei and Miku know what happened. Miyuki and Hayato never say out loud what happened to between them and Souhei just wanted to know what they are talking about and then Miku comes out asking if its true. I am not sure what is she asking is true? my best guess is that she heard them talking about something happening between the two of them and she wants to know if it is true. I mean even Souhei is confused and he was closer to them and I don’t understand why Miyuki doesn’t explain it a bit better to them and say she was upset and ran into Hayato and hugged because she thought she was losing Souhei to Miku. Instead she just says that she liked Hayato and doesn’t say anything else! if I was Souhei I would be thinking the worst like she kissed him or something more?? I was hoping that they were going to explain the hug thing for awhile and here they brought it up again and yet no real clear explanation (sigh). Anyway Souhei seems to be trying to convince himself that he only needs Miyuki even though he is clearly upset that Hayato and Miku are getting along so well and seriously dating. I guess his reaction to the hugging incident will really bring things around and may end up breaking up both couples and forming into new ones. I really want to see what the ninth episode will bring for the couples.

To The Beautiful You Episode 8 Summary September 8, 2012

The eighth episode starts Eun-Gyeol hugging Jae-Hee, she is surprised and he says that because its her birthday and then gives her the necklace in the box and runs away. Eun-Gyeol then realizes the one he likes is… which must be Jae-Hee.

Tae-Joon is in the dorm room and pulls out a wrapped present but hides it when Jae-Hee comes in and is holding the box from Eun-Gyeol and they both turn to give each other a gift at the same time. Tae-Joon gives her the birthday present and she gives him the necklace and he opens it first and she tells him that Eun-Gyeol found it and that he should thank Eun-Gyeol he agrees and thanks her too and then leaves.

Eun-Gyeol is trying to figure out why he loves a boy and as he is sitting he is imagining the people around him turn into Jae-Hee. Eun-Gyeol then says that Jae-Hee will become his number one enemy from now on.

Tae-Joon is in the bathroom and he puts on the necklace. Jae-Hee is in the room and opens up the box and finds some cosmetic products. Jae-Hee then opens the box from her brother and its a taser just in case boys get too close. She then tries to figure it out and tasers herself.

Jae-Hee is eating in the cafeteria when Eun-Gyeol comes up and gives her seaweed soup for her birthday. Eun-Gyeol explains that his life motto is if you can’t avoid it enjoy it and that there is something that he can’t avoid or enjoy that happened to him. He doesn’t tell her what it is but thinks that if he can’t avoid it he should at least try to enjoy it and Jae-Hee agrees. Jae-Hee asks how he got the seaweed soup and he flashbacks to showing aegyo to the kitchen staff.

Tae-Joon and Hyun-Jae are practicing high jump and the coach is recording them. Hyun-Jae makes it over but Tae-Joon doesn’t. Coach gives him the i pad to check to see what he did wrong and finds he was dropping the bar because he was not straightening out his legs at the finish. The coach goes into the changing room and talks to Hyun-Jae and asks him if he has performance anxiety because he is not doing as well at competitions compared to practices. The coach says that he needs to throw away he greed to win first because he is at an age when he can still afford to lose. As the coach is changing he gets his head stuck in his shirt and Hyun-Jae leaves.

Jae-Hee goes to buy a drink and then also gets a cake and goes to her dorm room as Tae-Joon comes in she has fallen out of her chair. Tae-Joon gets a phone call and then tells her that he has to go because Ha-Na is having her birthday party early because its at the same time as her competition next week. He asks if she needed anything and she pushes her cake out of sight and says she was just going to tell him to wash up because he smells like sweat but he disagrees and then leaves.

Ha-Na is outside waiting for Tae-Joon and she demands a gift from him but he doesn’t have one so she pulls him into the same store where he bought Jae-Hee’s gift and the saleswoman recognizes him and she says she bought it for a friends birthday.

Jae-Hee then goes to lie down and starts to read when her lights go out and Eun-Gyeol comes in with a cake and singing happy birthday. She says she is touched and blows out the candles and they then play around with icing. Eun-Gyeol then gets a call from Dong-Mu and he leaves to answer it.

Eun-Gyeol meets with Dong-Mu in a cafe and she tells him that she wants him to take her somewhere and she is at an audition and really nervous. She asks for a favor and she walks into her audition wearing soccer cleats. She comes out and she has passed her audition. He says he wants to tell her something and he asks her to hit him really hard on the cheek, she does and asks him if there is someone else that he likes and that she knew it. Eun-Gyeol says sorry, they shake hands and her bus comes.

Tae-Joon and Jae-Hee are in athletes club and Seung-Ri comes and says that training camp schedule is out and Tae-Joon explains that its a weekend jaunt off campus for a weekend.  Seung-Ri goes onto say that it will be at a campsite and that they are going out to train not to play.

Jae-Hee is in the dorm and Ha-Na barges in looking for the birthday present from that shop and she finally finds it in her desk and she tells Jae-Hee not to be that way with her Tae-Joon. Ha-Na goes on saying that she knows everything about Tae-Joon and Jae-Hee knows nothing about him. She tells her to get her head on straight and tries to take away the gift but Jae-Hee holds on and in the struggle it falls on the floor spilling. Ha-Na leaves and in her car she tells her driver that she doesn’t like Tae-Joon giving that much attention to Jae-Hee and that there is something between them that she doesn’t know and that it bothers her.

Jae-Hee picks up the broken jar and cleans up the mess that it made and then sits on the floor. Tae-Joon comes in and asks why she is on the floor and if something happened. Jae-Hee says sorry and tells him that the present he bought  broke because she made a mistake and dropped it. He says that it okay and she says that  she had wanted to savor it. Tae-Joon gets a text from Ha-Na and Jae-Hee asks how long they knew each other and he says since kids. She has been like a little sister to him since they where young and Jae-Hee says that it doesn’t seem like Ha-Na likes her very much. He says that she acts like a little kid and spouts off everything that comes to her mind but she doesn’t hold grudges and that she is not a bad kid. Ja-Hee asks him if he can’t eat undercooked egg yolks and he says yeah and she yells he can’t even eat that as a man and walks away.

Eun-Gyeol takes a picture of the punch he got. He asks why Hyun-Jae why he is packing and explains that its athletes club training camp. Eun-Gyeol realizes that Jae-Hee will also be going. Jae-Hee packs up her stuff and passes Eun-Gyeol as she is leaving and they say goodbye and is sad he won’t see her for the weekend.

They are all at the training camp, Jae-Hee is washing the rice and Teacher Lee comes over and starts helping her. Dr. Jang and Coach come over and tell Teacher Lee that they are having their own meal as teachers and to leave the students so they all leave.

Tae-Joon walks past Hyun-Jae talking on the phone talking sweet to someone and when Hyun-Jae sees Tae-Joon he gets off the phone fast. Tae-Joon asks if that was his girlfriend and he says its none of his business. Tae-Joon asks why he hates him so much he says its because everything Tae-Joon has he just throws away and does not appreciate it, to him it is something that he needs.

Eun-Gyeol is in his dorm moving from different  activities but keeps hearing Jae-Hee’s nickname softie/squishy everywhere he looks.

Jae-Hee is at the camp and she is trying to cook, Tae-Joon comes over to help her because it looks like she is going to cut herself with a knife. Tae-Joon explains that since his mom was always in the hospital he learned to cook in kindergarten, Jae-Hee exclaims and he says that was a lie. Jae-Hee makes a squash face and says its Tae-Joon and then he makes a much more impressive face on a vegetable and says its Jae-Hee. She disagrees and tries to grab it but it drops into the soup.

Everyone is sitting down to eat and Seung-Ri is amazed that Jae-Hee had made all the food herself. Jong-Min says that it probably won’t taste good though and that she probably used a lot of msg. Everyone digs in and says it tastes good Jae-Hee starts to say that Tae-Joon helped her but he stops her. Jong-Min pulls out the potato with Jae-Hee’s face and everyone says it looks like a face.

Everyone is going for a run and doing all sorts of training. Coach says that they are going to play the survivor game , where they split into two teams and the ones that get killed after to run ten laps around the campground in their underwear. Jong-Min says that he misses Eun-Gyeol and Hyun-Jae says he is glad he isn’t here because he is so loud. As they talk Eun-Gyeol comes up behind them and says he is here for his own training camp. He goes to the coach and begs to join, Coach keeps saying no until he says that he can help push him and teacher Lee together and Coach agrees.

Eun-Gyeol and Jae-Hee are walking and they sit and talk about training, Tae-Joon is behind them listening and then walks away.

The survivor game begins and it is a paintball game, Tae-Joon is on lookout and Jae-Hee tries to avoid a shot and she falls down some steps. Tae-Joon takes out the guy and jumps down from a high height and runs to her. Jae-Hee is with Eun-Gyeol and she says that she must have sprained her wrist and Tae-Joon then learns that the loser has to run around in their underwear. Tae-Joon tells Eun-Gyeol to stay with Jae-Hee and that he is going to end the game. He leaves and engages in the game and starts taking people out with his fancy moves. He gets the red teams flag.

Jae-Hee is with Eun-Gyeol and he saves Jae-Hee from Hyun-Jae’s shot and then she takes him out with Eun-Gyeol on top of her. Everyone shot has to run in their underwear.

Tae-Joon and Jae-Hee are walking with their clothes on and he says that she is looking very pale so he takes her to Dr. Jang telling him that she is short of breath, and in a cold sweat. He tells the other teachers that they need to leave the tent he including Tae-Joon. Dr. Jang tells her that her binding on her chest is too tight and that she doesn’t have that many days left with this pretense.

 

Jae-Hee comes to Eun-Gyeol and Tae-Joon and she explains her sugar level dropped and her wrist is fine.

Jae-Hee is trying to brush her teeth and is struggling, Tae-Joon comes and helps her, then he helps her wash her face and is silly with her, Eun-Gyeol watches.

Jae-Hee and Tae-Joon are in their tents and they are trying to sleep but she can’t she is going out for air and she falls into Tae-Joon’s arms. He grabs her and tells her that he thinks he likes her and that he is going to test it out because lips don’t lie. Eun-Gyeol is in his tent and he has imagined that this might happen but then says that men are not like that. Eun-Gyeol is sleeping in the Coach’s tent and he decides to sleep outside so he goes out in his sleeping bag.

Jae-Hee is in her tent and she is flash backing to earlier that day of Tae-Joon. They are lying in the tent together and they are both having a hard time falling asleep. She asks him if he knows what s’mores are and explains that in America thats what they make when they go camping and that because they taste so good people would ask for some more which turned into s’more. She asks if he would like it if she made some for him and he says he doesn’t know since she is not good at cooking. She says that she can make other stuff but isn’t good at Korean food. They then turn over to their sides to go to sleep.

Eun-Gyeol is moving like a caterpillar in his sleeping bag outside when Seung-Ri runs into him and tells him to go back to his tent. He then says that instead he could get some exercise with him and gives him 5 seconds to get back into his tent and he struggles getting back to his tent.

Tae-Joon’s dad goes to meet Tae-Joon’s manager and he tells her that he wants to send Tae-Joon to Canada that Coach Horton wants to coach Tae-Joon in Canada. Ha-Na opens the door and hears them talking about Tae-Joon in Canada.

Jae-Hee, Eun-Gyeol and Tae-Joon are eating breakfast with everyone and Tae-Joon was going to put a piece of food on Jae-Hee’s spoon of rice but Eun-Gyeol beat him to it. Seung-Ri yells at them for being lovey-dovery but Eun-Gyeol explains they are doing this because she hurt her hand. Jong-Min sees this and fakes his arm hurting so Eun-Gyeol feeds him a spoon of rice, Jong-Min yells about him only getting rice and therefore sprays everyone with rice.

Everyone is sitting in a circle and Eun-Gyeol tells them that there is a meteor shower tonight and Jong-Min wants to go with him. Seung-Ri complains that they have nothing better to watch and Jong-Min says that why he doesn’t have a girlfriend because he is not romantic enough. Jae-Hee asks him what type of girl he likes and he says she needs to be feminine, elegant, calm personality and that he hates bratty selfish girls. He tells them to sleep because there is only an hour for a nap so they all go to sleep in their chairs.

Tae-Joon opens the tent and finds Jae-Hee changing her shirt, he quickly zips it back up and he tells her to be careful he could be teased. She tells him about the meteor shower and says she is scared to go by herself and he says they should go and that she can make s’mores too.

In the evening Seung-Ri tells Tae-Joon that he needs his help for the training schedule for tomorrow he agrees he will go to his tent for a little bit. Tae-Joon then goes into his tent and Jae-Hee is packing stuff and he says that she can go first because he has to help Seung-Ri first and she agrees. Tae-Joon says they will meet at the stage in half an hour. Tae-Joon then gives her his jacket because she didn’t bring much because it gets very cold.

Seung-Ri is walking and he sees a shooting star and says it could give him a girlfriend if it wants. He then meets Ha-Na and asks about Tae-Joon, Seung-Ri stutters and tells her which way to go.

Eun-Gyeol talks to Jae-Hee through the tent and asks if she wants to go to meteor shower he opens the tent and realizes she isn’t there.

Tae-Joon then meets Ha-Na who is crying and she tells him that she heard his dad say that he is going to send him to Canada. Jae-Hee made a fire and started making the s’mores and pulls out her phone. Ha-Na then tells Tae-Joon that his dad already registered him at a school and that she is going to follow him there. He tells her that this won’t happen and that even though she came here she can go back now. She asks him to come back to Seoul with her and he tells her that he is at a training camp. Jae-Hee is still waiting and Eun-Gyeol finds her and sits with her. Tae-Joon is packed and going to the car with Ha-Na and then he phones Jae-Hee, she says its okay and there is nothing they can do. Eun-Gyeol then asks what the s’mores are and she says that when she was little someone she liked introduced them to her. Eun-Gyeol and her eat them and he says they are really good, he sees a crumb on her lip and helps take it off with his finger. Eun-Gyeol says he has something he needs to tell her and this is the end of the eighth episode.

This was a very entertaining episode!! I loved the action sequence of Tae-Joon paint-balling very cool!! lol Tae-Joon going to Canada!! too funny yes come to Canada Tae-Joon I will come visit you then!!  There was just soo much happening in the episode Eun-Gyeol being a caterpillar, Seung-Ri explaining his ideal girl, s’mores and I enjoyed everything! Jae-Hee is binding her chest too tight and therefore she may have to leave soon!! poor Eun-Gyeol he is still so confused over why he is attracted to a boy and even dumps his girlfriend for Jae-Hee. Tae-Joon how sweet is he that he knows she is a girl and he still wants her to stick around and protects her to the best of his ability. I find all the character so likable and have really enjoyed this weeks episodes.

To The Beautiful You Summary Episode 7 September 7, 2012

Episode 7 starts with Jae-Hee falling into Tae-Joon’s arms, Ha-Na and Eun-Gyeol watched the whole thing. The four of them are walking together and Ha-Na is explaining that she was really disturbed because she thought Tae-Joon was with a girl. Seung-Ri meets them and tells Ha-Na to leave and she uses some cuteness to get him to allow her to stay even though he doesn’t really want to bend the rules for her. Eun-Gyeol and Jae-Hee walk behind and he says that Ha-Na is so sly and that  she would probably dress up like a guy to be in the dorm and of course this hits a nerve with Jae-Hee and she defends Ha-Na a little bit. Eun-Gyeol then tells Jae-Hee that he has decided to start dating Dong-Mu and she congratulates him and says that she is really pretty. Jae-Hee almost slips up by saying that even she as a girl would fall for her but quickly explains that because she is dressed like a girl is why she called herself a girl. As Jae-Hee leaves to change Eun-Gyeol takes out his phone and takes a bunch of pictures of Jae-Hee because he thinks that she is beautiful and could use to tease her later.

Jae-Hee changes and joins the party, Ha-Na sings a song to Tae-Joon and tries to get him to join her in a duet but he doesn’t move. Jae-Hee leaves while this is happening and Tae-Joon sees her leave. Jae-Hee goes to visit Sang-Chu the dog and discusses how she could have done a good job at singing as well.  She sings a bit and Sang-Chu joins in, Tae-Joon joins them because it was too loud in there. He asks when she changed and if its uncomfortable dressing up in disguise, Jae-Hee thought that he meant dressing up in boys clothes and he says he means in girls clothes. Ha-Na comes out and sees the two of them together. Tae-Joon says thanks for dressing up because he had heard from Seung-Ri that she had done it for him and that she didn’t need to go that far.

Dean of the dorms is discussing about the state of the dorms with another man and they are going to replace all the pipes when the do construction on the Annex. The Dean decides that number one dorm will have to be closed and a third student put into the other rooms for this construction.

Jong-Min goes into Eun-Gyeol’s and Hyun-Jae’s room and he is looking for Eun-Gyeol. Jong-Min is told that Eun-Gyeol has also moved rooms and is in Jae-Hee’s dorm room. Eun-Gyeol tries to take Tae-Joon’s bed and Tae-Joon does not allow this and throws his bag off his bed. Eun-Gyeol then fantasizes going around to other guys asking to switch rooms and is even willing to trade his signed soccer ball. Eun-Gyeol then says that he should share the upstairs with Jae-Hee, of course Tae-Joon doesn’t want that and instead gives him a hammock to sleep in and he agrees. The three of them go into class together acting all happy and Tae-Joon is annoyed. Jong-Min sees this and is annoyed by the three of them so happy together.

Jae-Hee is in the pool in a raft looking for the necklace and Eun-Gyeol comes in and joins her in the raft. He suggests going into the water to look for it and she reminds him that she is allergic to the chlorine. She then says sorry and pushes him into the water.

Ha-Na while driving with her driver she asks if he has any friends in a detective agency because she wants to check into one friend and she tells him that its Jae-Hee and to check into everything about her.

Eun-Gyeol is lying in the hammock and ask Jae-Hee if she wants ramen and he pulls out a little stove and pot and they make ramen. Tae-Joon comes in and reminds them that cooking in dorms is not allowed and he tells them to eat it elsewhere because it smells. Eun-Gyeol complains that there is no where else to eat it and then they are in the bathroom eating the ramen. Tae-Joon is in the room looking at his camera photos from the break and hear them laughing, he goes next to the bathroom door and listens in. Jae-Hee opens the door and falls in and asks him what he was doing and he of course being caught says he thought the door was a bit loose and that he needs to use the bathroom. Jae-Hee says that they are done and they leave to clean up.

Its nighttime and Eun-Gyeol is in his hammock on his phone and he gets a text from Dong-Mu saying that she misses him he replies him too. Eun-Gyeol is up and goes upstairs to look at Jae-Hee, his heart starts beating. The three of them are in the bathroom brushing their teeth together and Eun-Gyeol and Tae-Joon start competing by brushing their teeth fast.

Tae-Joon and Hyun-Jae train together very competitively. In the locker room Hyun-Jae tells Tae-Joon that thanks to him practice was fun today, he then asks if the rumor was trying about his condition. Tae-Joon just avoids his question and then tells him that he is not jumping for Hyun-Jae but that it doesn’t seem to be the case with him.

Jae-Hee picks up a movie from Tae-Joon’s shelf and he comes in and he tells her not to touch his stuff. She tells him that she liked the movie especially the ending he says he still hasn’t watched the ending. Eun-Gyeol comes in asking for a drink.

Ha-Na is in the car with the manager who is on the phone with Michelle Kim. Ha-Na keeps eating snacks which makes the manager mad and tells her that she needs to lose 3 kg before competition. The driver then tells Ha-Na that she should talk to Michelle Kim because she went to school with Jae-Hee in America.

Eun-Gyeol and Jae-Hee are in the upstairs and talking about the ghost stories at the Annex. Tae-Joon is annoyed by their talking so he comes up and tells them to keep i down. The two of them keep laughing and talking, Tae-Joon gets curious and peeks over the rail, Jae-Hee asks if he is doing exercise and tells him that they won’t bother him, she then pulls the curtain so he can’t see.

Tae-Joon is at his desk and Jae-Hee asks him to go bowling with them, of course he refuses them right away. Eun-Gyeol says that he can teach him some things and Jae-Hee says that it looks like he can’t bowl. Tae-Joon is very bothered by this comment and comes bowling with them. Hyun-Jae, Jong-Min and Seung-Ri also go bowling with them. Eun-Gyeol and Jae-Hee both get a strike but when Tae-Joon goes he calculates his turn but ends up throwing the ball backwards and Jae-Hee catches the ball. She gives him the ball back he makes some excuses and his second turns results in him falling on the ground and getting a gutter ball. Jae-Hee then tries to show Tae-Joon how do bowl and his next try he gets a strike and celebrates with Jae-Hee.

Eun-Gyeol goes into the dorm room to get his bathing suit, he hears Jae-Hee showering and goes toward the bathroom door to open it and Tae-Joon interrupts him asking what he is doing. Eun-Gyeol says he came for his suit and that he needed to use the washroom and then he leaves. Eun-Gyeol gets in the pool and looks for the necklace.  He takes a picture with his phone, he accidentally drops it and it falls next to the necklace and he is able to pick them both up.

Eun-Gyeol goes to find Jae-Hee and she explains that the necklace is Tae-Joon and that it is very meaningful to him and that he lost it because of her. Eun-Gyeol decides not to give it to her after hearing that.

Eun-Gyeol is in a clothes shop with Dong-Mu and she wants to wear a couple tee. She tells him that he looks worried and he says that he is having a hard time being a friend because he feels jealous. She asks him if its Jae-Hee he says yes and she says she feels jealous for some reason. He asks why and she says because all he talks about is Jae-Hee and that for the rest of the day talking about Jae-Hee is prohibited.

Jae-Hee meets up with Jong-Min and he asks if she has lost a necklace because he dropped it by the art room in the annex and that she should go find it because its going to be demolished tomorrow. A couple of guys are getting scary make up and wigs like from the ring done one of them is Jong-Min and they are planning on scaring Jae-Hee. Jae-Hee is walking around with a flashlight and jumping from different things.

first dorm leader is collecting some things that they left with two other guys in the annex as well. They then run into Jong-Min and the others dressed up and they both freak out. The three teachers are walking, coach, teacher Lee and Dr. Jang. Coach is talking about how he was in the marines corps and that they catch ghosts and then they run into Jong-Min and the others dressed up and Coach freaks out and faints.

Tae-Joon is in his room reading and he is worried because it is late, he tries phoning her but she left her phone in their room. Jae-Hee is still looking in the art room and the security guard came into the room but didn’t see her so he locks the door with chains. Tae-Joon is still waiting and Eun-Gyeol comes in he then gets a text message saying that Dong-Mu wants to see him outside his dorm so he leaves. Jae-Hee is trying to pry open the lock with a piece of wood and then tries to open the window.

Tae-Joon checks the library and runs outside. Jae-Hee flashes her flashlight out the window and gets Tae-Joon’s attention. Tae-Joon breaks a window and goes in and comes to the door, takes a fire extinguisher and breaks the lock on the door. Jae-Hee comes running out into Tae-Joon’s arms and he pats her head, as they walk back she holds his arm because she is scared. He holds her hand and she makes a comment about him being scared and he says no and a cat comes and he jumps and screams.

As they walk back she says she thought she was going to die and that she wants to sit down because her legs feel shaky. He grabs her leg and gives it a bit of a massage and she says that it would have been good to find the necklace. He says that even if he gets it back it won’t change anything and its just an obsession. He then explains the movie from earlier and that he used to watch it with his mom and that movies were her hobby.

 He flashbacks to his mom and him in the hospital watching a movie and his mom says that he can go home since he is flying out tomorrow and that she is also tired. He says that then next time they can finish it because he is also tired and that she can’t watch it without him and she agrees. As he leaves she grabs his arm and says that she is happy he is her son and that she loves him. She starts crying when he leaves and when he gets out the door he almost goes back in but then keeps going.

The next scene shows him winning world junior championship. Tae-Joon is riding with his dad and he says he wants to go to the hospital but his dad says to go home. His dad explains that he didn’t want to interfere with his competition so he didn’t call and that his mom. The next scene is Tae-Joon in a black suit holding a picture of his mom and him and then looking at his medal. He then pulls out the movie. Tae-Joon is crying and telling Jae-Hee that he tried to turn back time to finish watching the movie with her. Jae-Hee hugs his neck and is also crying.

Ha-Na is talking to Michelle Kim and she gives her yearbook to Ha-Na. Ha-Na takes it home and looks for Jae-Hee, she gets interrupted by a phone call as she gets onto the page with Jae-Hee’s picture.

Jae-Hee and Tae-Joon are in the dorm and he pulls out the movie and asks her if she wants to watch it and she agrees.

Tae-Joon walks down the stairs and meets the delivery man and he leaves him with all his packages. There is a package for Jae-Hee that says happy birthday and he picks it up and looks at it.

Teacher Lee is with Eun-Gyeol and he is helping with files and since he is so good she gives him even more things to organize. He asks for a pass from classes while looking he finds that it is Jae-Hee’s birthday today.

Dong-Mu is playing the violin at a concert and Eun-Gyeol is watching in the audience. As he is sitting there he tells the person next to him that she is his girlfriend and the guy says that she is his daughter and he greets and bows to him.

Dong-Mu and Eun-Gyeol are shopping and he wants to buy her something for her performance and also a commemoration of them dating. Eun-Gyeol goes to the clerk and asks to have Tae-Joon’s necklace wrapped up he then decides he will give it to her for her birthday.

Tae-Joon goes into a girly shop and he wants some makeup that doesn’t look like a women’s makeup. The clerk suggest unisex moisturizer.

Eun-Gyeol goes into the dorm and can’t find Jae-Hee, he looks elsewhere and Seung-Ri says that he saw her in the laundry room. He finds her in the laundry room and watches her outside for a bit and then goes in and gives her a back hug and this is how the seventh episode ends.

This was a very enjoyable episode so many cute moments between Jae-Hee and Eun-Gyeol and Tae-Joon and Jae-Hee. I think I entire love triangle between the three of them so funny that both guys are jealous of each other. I mean how perfect is a hammock for Eun-Gyeol!! its fits his character too well!! Tae-Joon crying just breaks and melts my heart!! soo funny when Tae-Joon tries to spy on Jae-Hee and Tae-Joon that was the best part. This episode was the most humorous I think so far and I really enjoyed it.
