Piece Japanese Drama Episode 3 Summary December 30, 2012

 

The third episode of Piece starts off with Mizuho speaking with Haruka’s mom and explaining that she wasn’t close to Haruka. Haruka’s mom realizes that Haruka pretended to get cards from Mizuho and that they weren’t friends. Her mom leaves and tells her to forget everything they talked about. Hikaru comes up to Mizuho after and says it was cruel of her and that she should have pretended longer. Mizuho agrees with him and he ruffles her head and then says they should go for a walk.

 

Mizuho and Hikaru have stopped during their walk and he asks her why it was her that was picked to Haruka’s friend. Mizuho says she doesn’t know but she went lent Haruka her handkerchief once when she was being bullied but they didn’t even speak. Hikaru says that’s typical of Mizuho not speaking and giving her the handkerchief. Mizuho replies that she hates how he speaks of others as if he knows everything. It flashes on the screen that Hikaru’s mere existence always provokes her.

 

It flashes autumn of 2nd year high school. Mizuho is walking down the hall and she sees Hikaru talking to a girl and she is asking whether his remodeling is done yet and he replies it is taking time.

 

Hikaru and Mizuho are in bed when she hears Hikaru’s phone buzzing and she sees it is Noriko phoning. She gets out of bed and Hikaru wakes up. Mizuho leaves and tries to open up a door and she can’t, she sees a lock by the top of the door.

 

Mizuho is sitting at the table with Nanao-san and she asks why the door was locked and that she found in search of the bathroom. Nanao-san tells her that it belongs to Hikaru’s mother but that she hasn’t been there in forever. She also tells her that is locked because it is full of important work-related documents and that she works at the Department of Psychosomatic Medicine at the hospital and that she is quite well known. Mizuho then asks what Hikaru was like when he was young because she is interested in knowing how a person like he was raised. Nanao-san cuts her off and asks her if she loves him and that she wants to know because she wants to make him hers.

 

Mizuho is at the bus stop and she thinks why does she respond to Hikaru and why no one else? She also wonders how she can make Hikaru hers even if it’s just for a little?

 

Mizuho is at home and she is reading a book, Intro to Clinical Psychology by  Narumi Risako who is Hikaru’s mother. She felt she could not find the answers she wanted from the book.

 

The girls are eating lunch and teasing Remi about her going on a diet for a group date. They ask if Mizuho is also on a diet and she says no and excuses herself. Mizuho is walking the halls and she wonders and she see two girls talking and one is saying she likes Yanai-senpai and wonders if it is selfish of her to want him to fall in love with her and she says she can’t confess because he is too charming. The girls continue to sit when they see Yanai-Sempai with a boy student and the student notices Madoka (one with hair down) and she smiles at him, bows and he hits his head trying to bow to her.

 

Hikaru and Mizuho are in his bed again and he goes in for a kiss and she says to him not to touch her. She tells him that she can’t come here again and that it is so stressful being with him.

 

It flashes 1 month later. Nanao-san is with Hikaru and they are having tea she notices that Mizuho hasn’t been coming around. He tells her she got tired of this house. Nanao-san says that Mizuho is a lot like him and that she is bad at expressing herself and clumsy, cold, self-centered, selfish and immature.

Mizuho is in class and Megu-chi finds her and asks what is wrong and Mizuho says that she isn’t sleeping well. Megu-chi gets a lovey text from her boyfriend and Mizuho asks why she slept with her boyfriend. Megu-chi replies that she found someone she cared about and casually dated but she still didn’t understand and that is why she slept with him. She wasn’t sure what she thought but she is simpler and naive than she thought. Megu-chi says that Mizuho is cute and has good points but that she lacks self-confidence and that if the guy is stupid enough to not want her after she has shown him all that she is then he deserves to be kicked out. She says that she won’t get hurt and then she asks her if she has someone that she likes cause then she would have been laughing at all of this. She goes on saying she uses her head too much and that it is deeper inside. Mizuho then sees that it is Friday.

 

Mizuho is walking outside and sees her young self in the puddle and has a flashback. Her mom and her are watching some kids play in the mud and her mom praises her for not getting muddy. She then wonders what it takes to fall in love and that she has always thought with her head. She then steps in the puddle and has flashbacks of being with Hikaru. She thinks she wants to be moved by Hikaru deeper and deeper. She then walks through all the puddles.

 

Mizuho is ringing Hikaru’s doorbell and there is no answer. She goes and opens his door and goes into his bedroom but he isn’t there and she decides to wait for him. She wonders if she falls deeper what will happen and wants to know where this desire will lead her. She hears a door click and walks out and sees that Hikaru’s mom door is open. She goes into the room and no one is there and goes out she wonders if she was worried about running into Hikaru and wonders if before giving in to him there is things she wants to know like how to make him mine and to be needed by him a guy who has no attachment to anyone. She wonders if there is things she could learn from his mother.

 

She goes back into his mother’s room and reads some of his mothers article about how to raise a child and she is wonders why his mother doesn’t takes care of him. She knocks off a book and sees a child-care journal of Hikaru’s then she notices that all the binders are of Hikaru. She realizes that more than anything she wants to analyze him and that it is a selfish desire of hers. She opens another binder and reads that he broke a camera. She then notices a case full of videotapes of Hikaru. She puts one into the VCR and watches a tape and she sees one where his mother is talking to the housekeeper and she tells him not to give him what he wants and she tells him that this is child abuse. His mom says that she is providing him with safety and food and that there is nothing wrong with parents controlling their children. She then hears her name and sees Hikaru sitting at the table watching her in her chair and he asks what she is doing and that is how episode 3 ends.

Wow what an intense ending we are no closer to figuring out anything about Haruka but I think there is a better understanding of Hikaru. I mean the ending was pretty intense it almost seemed like a thriller when Mizuho was walking around his house and no one is around but the door was unlocked. I mean how long was Hikaru seating there and watching her? Creepy! I mean she really shouldn’t have been going through that and watching the video she should have asked him about it because he is going to freak on her!! I guess it makes sense why he knows how to read people and understand them because of his mom. The whole watching recording him like no wonder he has problems attaching to people because the parent that he is supposed to be attached to does not really let him do that. Hikaru was basically a science project for his mother and was the basis for her research, which is pretty sick and twisted!! Yikes I am soo curious to see what is going to happen!!

Piece Japanese Drama Episode 2 Summary December 29, 2012

The second episode of Piece starts with Mizuho talking to Haruka’s mother and she is pleading Mizuho to tell her who was the father of Haruka’s baby. She tells Haruka’s mother that it was a misunderstanding.

Mizuho’s childhood flashes on the screen and a young Mizuho is waiting for the bus on a bench. She gets on and realizes she got on the wrong bus and then becomes excited. A man is next to her in black telling her there are 4 types of people, one type that would never board the wrong bus, one that would always board the wrong bus, then there are the ones that after realizing they boarded the wrong bus would quickly change buses and the last ones are the ones that stay on the bus even though they know it is the wrong one just like she is doing. Then the man disappears. Then it flashes to her mother scolding her for staying on the wrong bus and she is saying sorry and they are both crying.
  

It flashes on the screen summer of 2nd Year High School. One of Mizuho’s friend asks what she was doing all summer because her skin is so white. She tells them she was mostly at home. Rumi asks if she went to the beach and she has a flashback of going to the beach with Hikaru and she says she didn’t. They then notice Hikaru with his head on a girls lap and they talk about how he has got another girlfriend. She flashbacks to being kissed by Hikaru, she stands up and says that Hikaru is intensely indecisive and leaves all the girls follow. Hikaru sits up and watches them leave.

Mizuho is at her desk working and Hikaru comes over and tries to talk to her but she ignores him. He asks if something bad happened over the holidays she doesn’t answer and then he tells her that she really can’t play. He then tells her that he may seem diligent and reliable to those around him and she remember telling him that on the bus when he was sleeping. She asks if he was awake at that time and he teases her by reminding her that she was busy.

Mizuho is in the bathroom and they are talking about Megu-chi the friend with the long black hair and that she is dated a boy from prep school and that she might have even done it with him. Megu-chi comes out and tells them that it is all true and that she can’t explain but eventually she had already slept with him. They are walking down the hall and see a first year handing a note to Hikaru.

Mizuho goes to the bus stop and meets Hikaru and she asks about his girl friend and he says he doesn’t have one. She asks him about the first year confessing her love and she tells him to choose carefully. He tells her he doesn’t choose but it is the other person. He tells her that a normal woman doesn’t want him and the minute she figures it out she takes it back. She tells him about the different types of people and he says that she is the type that will carry on despite knowing that she is on the wrong bus. The bus comes and he gets on and asks if she is going to get on or not. She gets on the bus and stands next to him and they hold hands while Matchbox 20’s song Parade plays.

Mizuho and Hikaru go to his house and are in the bedroom and he hugs her. Her phone starts buzzing and it is Remi phoning. Hikaru asks if she is going to answer it and she says she doesn’t want anyone to know she is with him because it will be a permanant blot in her life. He asks why she came with him and sits her on the bed and calls her an idiot. He lies her down and he starts to kiss her and she pushes him off and tells him to stop it. He tries to get back and she pushes and says stop again. He then asks if she doesn’t want him to touch her and she says not really. He starts to leave and she asks where he is going and he says to sleep. 

She walks out and finds him on a couch surrounded by clothes and clutter. She asks  what this  is and he says its a bachelor pad. She asks about his mother and he tells her that his mother leaves in an apartment close to her work. She asks him if he feels lonely living alone and he tells her to leave because they aren’t doing anything. She starts laughing and says he is having a tantrum and he throws pillows at her and she throws them back saying she is hungry.

Mizuho goes to the fridge and there is a lot of food in containers and she asks if he made all of these and he says no, he has a housekeeper. He tells her that the housekeeper is an unsociable old lay Nanao-san and that she used to be a live-in and now she only comes once a week. Mizuho asks if she can have some and the two of them are eating together. She tells him it looks like a kid’s room and that when she was young her room was always messy and that her mom would lose patience and clean it. He says that it is unexpected and that it must have been tidy. She tells him it is tidy now but that she doesn’t think that it matters whether the room is messy or tidy it should be fine as long as you can relax in it. He tells her that he can see her panties and that she is too relaxed. She laughs and then says that this house is comfortable.

She is getting ready to leave and she asks is she could come again. He says sure but to not come on Fridays because they won’t be able to do anything with his housekeeper here. He then says that until then to decide how far she wants to go and then asks if she will complain if it is just kissing. She answers that she understands and that she will make sure to come on a Friday and leaves quickly.

She is walking away and Hikaru comes running after her and he says that he will walk her to the bus because it is getting late. She says that it is like they are on a date or something and then says that he doesn’t have girlfriends though. She thanks him and they stare at each other, she closes her eyes and he just laughs. He tells her that it is payback for before and gives her an air kiss and  Matchbox Twenty song I Will plays in this scene.

Mizuho is rushing to her classroom saying that she forgot about the homework handouts. She opens the door to the class and finds Haruka and they greet each other. She walks about Haruka and sees her cleaning the words creepy and die on Haruka’s desk. Mizuho does her homework and takes some tissues and brings it over to Haruka. Then Mizuho goes back to her own desk and Haruka keeps cleaning.

It is Friday and Remi comes up to Mizuho and asks where she goes every Friday because she can’t reach her on the phone. Mizuho tells her that she goes to a friends to study and then doesn’t answer her phone. Remi asks her if it is a boy and Mizuho says that she does not have a boyfriend angrily. Hikaru laughs and she kicks his seat.

Hikaru is at the bus stop waiting and Mizuho comes out of the bus and he asks why they have to take different buses. She tells him that she doesn’t want anyone from school to find out and to label her as a slut but not  she has done it. Hikaru asks if a girl who doesn’t do that great and who does it help.

They go into his house and she says hello to his housekeeper Nanao-san. Nano-san asks what kind of boys has the girl been seeing? The body remembers very well and that one must treat oneself with care. She answers that she understands as far as someone who cannot take my responsibility is able to understand and that she will be fine.

Hikaru and Mizuho are in his room and he asks how far she is willing to go and she says kiss are okay and nothing more than that are okay. He says to go home and and she holds out her hands and says hug. He then tells her that he can’t tell is she is obstinate or careless and then he gives her a back hug and asks if she is nervous and tells her to relax. She then thinks that this is the first time that she has realized that she has always lived her life with lots of stress on her shoulders to the point she can’t bear it. He then turns her to see him and goes to kiss her and Nanao-san starts vacuuming. They stop and says that it is a mood killer he lies down and tells her to lie down next to him and she does.  He closes his eyes and she turns to look at him and thinks that even though she considers herself to be indifferent, she understands the feelings of those who get themselves in too deep. That she feels a twinge of regret.

Mizuho is walking down the school hall and sees and hears Hikaru and a girl talking and she asks him if she can come over and he tells her that his house is being remodeled. Mizuho walks fast past them and she asks when it will be over and he says he doesn’t know.

Mizuho and Hikaru are in bed and he puts his pillow close to hers and says that lately he has trouble sleeping without her, she smiles and they snuggle together. Mizuho is about to talk to him but realizes he is sleeping. She thinks that that she can’t help but want to be spoiled by Hikaru and she wonders if he will accept everything about her and that is how the second episode ends.

I find this episode very intriguing but it sure didn’t focus on Haruka very much or really go back to the funeral in the present day. It focused more on Hikaru and Mizuho’s relationship that is undefined. I mean Mizuho doesn’t want to allow herself to fall in love with Hikaru because he is a womanizer and she doesn’t want to be just one of the girls in his long line up of women. Hikaru seems really childish just wanting to do be physical with her and test her out like every woman he comes in contact with. He obviously has issues with his mother which means also with other woman almost a self-fulfilling prophecy. His mother left him therefore he will treat woman badly and they will leave him again therefore proving to himself that he was right. Mizuho is smart and doesn’t let him get what he wants all the time because she realizes that she wants to be treated differently and wants to just be around him because she likes him beyond his looks. She is intrigued by not just his looks but who he is and what makes him tick. I am not sure how Haruka is going to be at the center of the story but I guess I will have to keep watching to figure it out!!

Piece Japanese Drama Episode 1 Summary December 24, 2012

The first episode of the Japanese drama Piece starts off with Mizuho going to a man’s door and she is surprised to see a girl there and tells the man that she heard he had a cold and was on leave from work. She then gets a call from Remi and she tells her that Haruka, a classmate from second year got sick and passed away.

Mizuho is talking to the man and she asks him if that girl is from the literature department and he nods yes and then she says she is leaving and tells him they will settle this later and that she will be waiting to hear from him.

Remi and Mizuho go to the funeral together and Remi tells her that she didn’t ask many questions when she heard that Haruka passed away. Remi recognizes Sugawara and he barely acknowledges them. Remi tells Mizuho that she heard that Sugawara did not pass the exam this year either. They look into the church and see the photo of Haruka and her parents crying. She flashbacks and sees Haruka sitting in her desk.

Hikaru is getting dressed in a suit in his apartment and a lady is banging on the door telling him that she knows he is in there. A girl in the apartment is worried about this and he tells her that she will eventually stop. She wonders how he is going to leave, he opens his door to the balcony and she yells at him that it is the third floor. He jumps and lands on his feet and keeps walking, she stares at him as he walks away. He turns around and smiles at her.

All of the classmates are gathered and talking before the funeral and they are catching up on the gossip. They talk about Narumi and how he had bad grades. Yanai Sempai comes and all of the girls gets excited. They also notice that Miyamoto Sempai from Physical Education and that he sexually harasser.

Mizuho sits on a bench in the church part alone and she writes a text asking is they can meet tomorrow and that she will be waiting at the school cafeteria after the second period is over. Hikaru comes and grabs the phone out of her hands and says he wanted this new model of phone, he reads her text aloud and questions if its a boyfriend. She tries to grab the phone out of his hand and he pulls it away, he then sends the text and gives it back. He then puts his head down and tells her to wake him up when the funeral starts. She tells him that she heard that he is at Meiwa University and she tells him that he could have aimed higher. He tells her that even before she has always overestimated him and he tells her to stop talking because he is sleepy. She thinks that if you are in the same class every day with your desks lined up against each other, somehow you get to see each other’s colors but that this is the only guy she doesn’t understand at all. She wonders what he is seeing, thinking, desiring, disliking and that she has no clue.

It flashes on the screen three years ago. A bunch of rowdy boys go into the classroom and bother Haruka by closing her book and pushing her desk. Sugawara is sitting in his desk and is coughing a girl asks if he is suffering from summer colds and gives him a lozenge. Remi comes running up to Mizuho and a group of girls and she asks them if they consider class 2’s Naomi a friend and one girls says they have been in class for a year together. She tells them that she is pregnant and they ask if the father knows and she says yes. She tells them that she is helping gather money for an abortion. All of the girls put money except Mizuho and she says that she needs to take responsibility for her actions and that she is not close to her. The bell rings and Mizuho excuses herself and one girls says that Mizuho is not attractive, another says she likes that about her.

Mizuho is walking down the stairs and she runs into Haruka and all the papers go flying. Mizuho says its her fault and they clean up the papers together and they hear guys talking about Mizuho and how she is a cool beauty but difficult to like and cold hearted. That once he tried confessing and she cut him off and that she is mean. Haruka then goes up the stairs and tells them to move aside because they are in the way and they call her ugly. Mizuho watches from the bottom and sees them walk away.

Mizuho is in the classroom reading and Hikaru is watching her, she looks up and he tells her that it seems she is not popular that she does not let her guard down around other people and that they seem tiresome to her. That she is reasonably pretty but not popular. Mizuho just stares at him and girl comes in asking if they can go for drinks he says sure but has no money and she says its fine and they walk away together.

Mizuho is in the washroom with other girls and they agree that Hikaru is usually goofing off but when he opens his mouth he lets out a bombshell. Remi says he said something like that to her that she is not chubby but really fat the other girls seem to agree with him but pretend they don’t. One girl says that she still likes him and that he is kind to girls. Another says that she doesn’t like him. They ask Mizuho is she likes him and she says she doesn’t really know and that he is not easy to read.

Mizuho is in the classroom and she is at her desk and can’t find her workbook. The teacher comes in and asks her to come to the front and solve some problems. Before she can say anything Hikaru sitting in front on her throws his workbook to her and she gets up and look through the book that is completely filled out.

The teacher tells them that during summer vacation they should study hard and take care of themselves. Hikaru gets up and Mizuho says thanks and he says not to forget her book next time. She asks him if he always slacks off during exams and she goes on saying that he prepared so much for this lesson and that these are not notes of somebody stupid. He smiles and says oh yeah and walks away.

Hikaru is standing in the hallway and a girl runs up to him saying she has to talk to somebody first and to wait here for her. He agrees and she runs off.

Mizuho is sitting in class writing in a journal of some sort. Hikaru comes in and notices she is writing in the daily journal he notices it is methodical, vague and diligent. She tells him that she doesn’t like it when the teacher complains about it not being enough. Hikaru sits looking at her saying that she always weight the pros and cons carefully, rather than acting on emotion. She tells him that he shouldn’t make fun of people by pretending to analyze them.  She tells him that she will keep in mind what he is saying. He then touches her lips with his finger and leans in for a kiss. She is in shock and asks why and he says it was just because her lips looked so pretty and shiny. She tells him that she just barely put on lip gloss and he says oh. The girl then interrupts and asks if they should go and he then leaves with her.

The girls are at lunch and Remi says that Hikaru and Natsuki have broken up. Kyouko wonders if it is her fault because she and Hikaru met on the train and he dropped her off at home once. Another girl says that he probably just did that because they were going the same way . Kyouko disagrees and says that he smiles at her a lot and that she is sure he has special feelings for her. The other girl says that he is like that to everyone. Mizuho says that he is close to everyone and that is why he can easily step into other people’s private space but doesn’t have any particular feelings to anybody. The other girls stare at her and Remi says that she sure has studied him in detail.

The girls are looking out the window and they see Hikaru with a third year girl. They joke around about how many girls he has dated. Kyouko watches them and gets mad and walks away the others follow after her and Mizuho stays. The third year girl leaves and Hikaru stands up and she watches him.

Hikaru walks down the hallway and Natsuki comes up to him and asks why it turned out this way and that they loved each other. Hikaru snorts and she asks what is funny and he says that he never intended to go out with her and he asks her if he ever said that he liked her. She says that he didn’t have to say it and that he was nice to her. He says that he did that so that she would sleep with him and that they had fun and they shouldn’t hold grudges.

In the classroom Mizuho gets her test back and gets a 93 she looks at Hikaru’s test and he got a 33 and the teacher says that those who got under 35 will take the test again next week. Hikaru says to Mizuho sorry and if she can meet him later.

Mizuho and Hikaru later are by some railing in the school and she asks why they are here. She sees the third year girl running around the hallways and she says that his girlfriend is looking for him. He is copying out her notes and says that they are just going out with no strings attached.  He then says that no decent woman would go out with him unless she was totally insane. They walk back into the school and the third year finds him she asks why she is avoiding her. He tells her that she looks scary and she gets angry asking is he is trying to make a fool out of her. She asks if Mizuho is his new girlfriend, Mizuho says no and he says what if she is. The girl says she won’t allow it and he says they can work it out with each other and walks away. Mizuho tells her that it is a misunderstanding and then runs away the girl runs after her. Hikaru then grabs Mizuho into the mens room and the girl stops and then runs past them. Mizuho hits him and asks him what he was doing and he tells her that he thought she could persuade her because she is smart. She tells him that he shouldn’t decide things on his own and then he tells her that this is the men’s washroom and she runs out.

Mizuho is walking home and Hikaru comes behind and says not to be mad and if that girl comes after him again what she should do? He tells her that she could tell the truth that he set her up and that with summer vacation she will give up eventually. He then asks her if she will go watch the fireworks.

They are together while he sets off fireworks. She then says busted, he tells her that he likes the smell of fireworks. She thinks that she is not supposed to be interested but she wanted to know and was mistaken all the parts and pieces.

Back to the present and Rumi finds them and tells her that the service has started and hits him to wake him up.

Three years ago summer vacation. Mizuho is at her desk at home finishing her work and she says that the vacation has just started, she has finished her homework. She then flashbacks to Hikaru telling her that she is diligent and she then says no more today. She goes downstairs and finds a note from her mom to have Soumen and she wanted something heavy and rich instead but since the prep had already started she starts to make it. She then remember when Hikaru told her that she weighs the pros and cons before making a decision. She then just gets mad and turns off the stove and then says sorry to her mom and she says she will have junk food.

She goes into a restaurant and has some cutlet and really enjoys the food. She then sees Hikaru and he joins her on the patio and laughs at her because she is always so prim and proper and she is enjoying the food so much. He asks if she can have some, she says no. He says that it is too big for her and she says she will eat it all. They walk out and she says she is full, she asks if he is on his way someplace. He says no and she says that he is probably on his way to his new girlfriends. He says he doesn’t have a girlfriend. She then says that she will be heading home and she walks the other way. Hikaru calls her and says that isn’t it a waste because it is a great chance that they bumped into each other and that they don’t live in the same neighborhoods. He says don’t you think its a miracle of them meeting and she says is this how you pick up girls and he says nothing like that. He asks her if she wants to go someplace? and that doesn’t she feel that today’s somewhat special? He then asks her if she wants to go or not? She smiles and says she will go.

They are looking at a map in the train station and they have no idea where they are going. They run onto the train and she loses a sandal. She is sitting on the train wearing one of his sandals on his foot.

They get off the train and Hikaru sees some characters dressed up and he runs after them and tries to find them but they can’t . Then she finds a place to buy sandals. Hikaru then gets her onto a bus, she says she loves riding the bus because she could ride alone when she was a kid. When she was riding she felt free and wished it could go on forever. That though she seems diligent and reliable to those around her but really she is just a spoiled kid. She looks over and Hikaru is sleeping.

They get off the bus and go to a restaurant and have shaved ice. He watches her enjoy eating, he tells her that he will be in trouble today because she looks extremely cute. He tells her that things look weird when looked at under a microscope, grotesque she agrees. He then even so it exists in this world. He then says just kidding.

They ride a bus and she notices they came really far and says they did pointless things. She says that the things that are important are very few. The things a person remembers are important.  She then thinks that she noticed something resonate with Hikaru’s aimless presence. He then says that he wants to get off at this next stop.

They are walking along the beach. He says he wants to go into the water and wishes they brought swimsuits. He then says they could rent a hotel room and he teases her about taking it the wrong way. She thinks he is such a strange guy through and through, he has such a strong presence but all of a sudden he will disappear. Two guys come up and recognize Hikaru, he says they have the wrong person, one guy grabs his hair back. She yells and they grabs Mizuho. Hikaru grabs his hand away from Mizuho and says they are Nagato and Morita senpai and  he says something about his old girlfriend to piss him off. The guy punches Hikaru and Hikaru says in self defense and takes out his key and punches the guy with it. Hikaru is on top of the guy and the guy says sorry, Mizuho pushes him off and grabs him and they run away.

They are sitting outside and she gets a towel to wipe up the cut on his face and he asks why she stopped him and that he was not going to do it. She asks why he provoked them on purpose and that he is immature. He asks why she is angry and she angrily says she is not. He says her hands are shaking and she yells shut up. He grabs her hand and asks if she was scared, he says sorry. He touches her face and then kisses her cheek. He asks why her expression doesn’t change even when she is being kissed. He says weird girl and gets up and starts walking away. She thinks that she likes the person that she is when she is with Hikaru a lot but she equally hates the person that reacts to such a guy. A guy that always gouges his way deep into her heart.

At the funeral Rumi is crying and she says that to think she was only 19 and that maybe she had lots of things she wanted to do and somebody she loved and if it was her she would definitely regret it. Everyone goes up to her casket . Mizuho remembers her sitting in class and then as she walks away she drops her handkerchief and Rumi whispers her name and says she dropped it. Haruka’s mother comes up and says her name and tells her that she wants to talk to her.

Haruka’s mother is talking to Mizuho and tells her that she is thankful that she was Haruka’s friend. The mother asks her if she knows the man that Haruka was dating. Haruka’s mom tells her that Haruka was pregnant with his child and she doesn’t need to hide it. That is the end of the first episode of Piece.

This seems like it is going to be a very interesting drama!! It seems like it is going to be a mystery of trying to understand Haruka! Even though nobody seems like they have a connection to this girl that seems nerdy I bet there is going to be a very interesting story behind everything!! I love that it is very psychological and trying to understand the different characters. Mizuho and Hikaru are trying to understand each other but it seems like they have a hard time understanding each others way of thinking. I love that it goes into the past and present and everything seems harsh and cold in their world. I do not really have a good handle on the characters just what they have shown so it is hard to know what is really going to happen. I have been waiting for this drama to be subbed so that is why I am only reviewing the episodes now! I really enjoyed this first episode! I think the next episodes are only about 20 minutes.

Full House 2 Review (Spoilers) you can touch, be my girl

      

  I first have to say that I would have done episode reviews on Full House 2, but I wasn’t sure if I was going to stick to this drama and therefore did not start doing reviews. I am sorry that I did not because this drama was amazing!! I loved it more than to the beautiful you! 

I recently watched Full House, the first one because I really wanted to see Rain act and so I watched it and it was not bad but I would not say that it my favorite drama so far. I found the story line start to get old after awhile because it seemed so predictable and the characters did not seem to have much depth. I think because I was not really attached to the characters in the first one I had no problems with the second one being very different.

I realize that people seemed to not want to watch the drama because of Jang Man Ok’s hairstyle which was a short perm! I agree it was not the best look for her but I could look past it. I had seen a previous drama and knew that she could act so I was willing to still watch. Halfway through they did change her hairstyle and get rid of her perm and it did look a lot better but I didn’t really care. The other problem that I tended to hear was that the story line was too similar to You’re Beautiful and I also agree there are some similarities but I did not feel that it was ripping off the other drama it was still quite a bit different. I think that I have enjoyed this drama even more than You’re Beautiful but it is hard to tell because i haven’t seen that drama in awhile. From what I remember the characters where not as developed as the characters in Full House 2. I mean everything intermingled and the relationships are messy in this series which always kept me at the edge of my seat. I found in You’re Beautiful I never really found that i believed that Jeremy and Shin Woo were madly in love with Go Ni Mam. I found Tae-Kyung way more scary than Tae-Ik. Of course there is no gender reversals.

I really found this drama to be worth watching and what I enjoyed was the character depth, first of all and they show different aspects of Kwang-Hwi and Tae-Ik with their family past and the heartbreaks they have had. Secondly I enjoyed the friendship story line throughout the drama and loved that they focused on this aspect as it always makes me more weepy than even love lines. Thirdly I love that they seemed like they were singers and well the dancing could have been better but I loved their singing!! I also really liked that there was romance but this was not the complete focus as that can get stale if they focus on that too much for all the episodes. I also really liked that they split the episodes up it made it easier to watch and made me want to keep watching as if I didn’t get enough. I have to say there was a lot less flashbacks than I was expecting through the series! or maybe their was less romantic ones I’m not sure but I guess I was not bothered by this as much. There is just soo much going on in each episode I was never disappointed!! The lead men were cute and handsome and a joy to watch!! The ending is perfect I could not have asked for a better one!! I needed it to be a good one!!

What I didn’t like about this drama was that some parts did not exactly make sense and that was the Grandpa’s role. The way he acted was not exactly what I thought he was going to for example he comes home after all that time and does not get mad about no one coming to the classes and  I am sure he would have found out sooner or later about the stuff that went on at his place while he was gone from he neighbors. He lets her go one time easily and the next he is so upset? I just found that his character was inconsistent. Another thing I didn’t understand was that Kwang-Hwi was going to lose his eyesight and never see again but if he goes to China then he can have the surgery?? It was weird he should have just gone to China then right away and the President should have just got him the surgery rather than making him wait?? not sure if I was missing something but that seemed odd. Also I didn’t really care for Man Ok fashion I realize that she is supposed to design her own clothes, but I really did not care for the style of her clothes!!

Overall I recommend that all of you go watch Full House 2 right now if you have not watched it yet!! I have thoroughly enjoyed it and now feel soo sad that it is over!!!
